Japan vs Netherlands... 2-2 FT Enjoyed this game. Sad that Holland missed the chance for 3pts but Japan earned their point indeed. Top game. All goals in 2nd half. Advantage Sweden if they can take out Tunisia in this group. Game in less than 5hrs. |

What a second half between Netherlands and Japan Japan would have won this game if they weren't so defensive in the first half. Amazing footballers. |

I've always admired Japanese football, very technical and smooth to watch, definitely one of my favorite teams in this tournament. |

Just as Scotland take use opportunity top their group, Sweden will top this group after beating Tunisia…Then you will now see how stubborn they will be to let go off that top spot..Its usually very difficult unseating those mid table europeans when they go top |

TheSuperNerd:Just review the goal incident and take notice of Neuer's positioning. Yes, the dynamics that played out rendered positioning somehow irrelevant. If Neuer's positioning was irrelevant, so is Okoye's positioning, deflection or no deflection. Okoye conceded world class goals. If we are to bring positioning to the reckoning table, Manuel Neuer becomes more blameworthy. |

Okoye should improve pls. Making all these excuses for Okoye wont make him get better or assured in the Super Eagles shirt. Finito. Meliforme: |

Goke7:The Japanese spirit of being relentless and dogged is not new and it reflects in all their lives, they will literally fight to the death than surrender. During WW2, the Japanese were the last to surrender and many of them kept fighting in isolated jungles and islands even years after the war had ended in a German and Japanese defeat. |

Seeing Holland concede a headed equaliser against Japan made me weak. These Japanese outdo themselves even physically. They have great leaps in addition to their insane stamina. Goke7: |

The level of this world cup displays so far from the top teams has exposed how the likes of Simon Moses and Zaidu will look so out of place had we qualified. |

Things in america has always been pricy. Fox reportedly paid FIFA $485 million for the broadcast rights. Thats Fox alone and the US market. Thats only for broadcasting ooo. There is still licensing fee, marketing fee and so on. It was even fifa that gave them the go ahead to include the ads not that the decision is arbitrary. You should be on the lookout for their reported earnings from this tournament. Goke7: |

Many people have tipped Japan as a potential dark horse but looking at their squad they don’t even have better players than us which make me think, how did they achieve this level of consistency? 🤔 N.B: their coach have been in charge since 2018, maybe we should give Chelle enough time let’s see how far he can go with this team |

Make dem no too beat them ooo. Ever since we don nack dem wetin no good for Afcon, i don dey fear make dem no too beat them for world cup. They looked so ordinary in that our match. Football sometimes is not 1+1 so we wait and see. 3 hours to go Samueltemi337:Guess I was not paranoid. I expected a little resistance atleast, a little fight from them. How awful was their wcq opponents that they couldn't penetrate this tunisian team throughout the qualifiers. |

Goke7:My brother, this country is set up to almost completely milk you dry lol. An entree of a burger with medium fries and a medium fountain drink can set you back between $16-$21, depending on the particular restaurant. Then, a standard home internet monthly bill is $70+ |

That country is a capitalist dream. Space X literally just made several people millionaires just from holding stock. Those things dont occur in places where price of things are reasonable. I cant complain on someone else's headache abeg. They are fine and proud of it. Goke7: |

Will Cote D’Ivoire break the curse of losing to South American opposition in their last three world cup appearances? In 2006, they lost 2-1 to Argentina. 2010, they lost 3-1 to Brazil, and in 2014, they lost 2-1 to Colombia. |

Yan, Bazoumana and Pepe behind and flanking Wahi. Singo and Agbadou CB backline. Interesting. Emerse Fae goes with same CB pair that started vs France. Amad benched. Bonny expectedly benched. CM, Oulai starts from the bench. |

Moises Caicedo vs Frank Kessie. Steel vs Power. Toure it seems will pair Wahi upfront. Yan (RW) and Pepe (LW) on both flanks. The Ecuador 3 man CB backline is stacked. Hincapie, Pacho and Ordonez is a top class trio. Lol TheSuperNerd: |

TheSuperNerd:Okoye is not beyond improvement. I have in the past pointed out areas where he needs to improve. What i am against is a player getting a backlash that is underserved. Whoever is better at goalkeeping between Maduka Okoye and Stanley Nwabali is highly debatable because the two goalkeepers are very good. However what Maduka Okoye does with the ball at his feet is what makes me prefer him the more, this is an area where he beats Nwabali by a very good margin. |
