Good day everyone please I have a question in regards of name discrepancies, My ND, HND Certificates bears Onyema and other names are correct and passport with D.O.B is bearing Onyemaechi. What will I do or it doesn't matter for admission and Visa abroad especially France or UK? And which name should I use for my BSC as I am graduating by August this year.

Please has anyone been able to book appointment for first time Schengen travellers for France and Italy on TLSconnect this month?

Hi guys please I need your help. Please if you are a silent reader, help respond to this post.
My question: I just applied for Netherlands Visa through France and the earliest date I was able to find is Aug 10. My trip is on September 6th. Do I stand a chance to hear back from them before my travel date? Is there anyone here that got their passport back within 3 weeks in the last 3 months in Lagos? Please let me know if I should just withdraw the application or hope for the best? This will be my second Schengen visa through Netherlands. Thank you.

Hi,

From other people's experiences, it is taking about 7 weeks in recent times for people to get a response from the French Embassy.

However, no one can be sure how things would evolve between now and August when your appointment is scheduled.

Let me offer you 2 solutions:
1. if you have some flexibility with dates, change your travel dates to 2 months after your biometrics appointment. This removes the pressure of expecting a quick decision. You don't need to cancel your biometrics appointment, just make sure all flights, hotels and co booking match the new dates. Then on appointment day, inform TLS of the changes.
2. if your trip is urgent and strictly time-bound and you are not particular about the Netherlands, you can try other Schengen countries

All the best!

Thanks for your response. Is there any chance for new dates to come up for July/June? Right now the earliest date is Aug.

If the Abuja processing centre is receiving applications, I will strongly advise that you go through Abuja. You will get a quicker response.

Lagos has always been slow and slower compared to Abuja.

Hassy4:
Lagos to allow me just delete my previous application with a minor error to enable me to proceed to booking, since June 12th, they haven’t responded. I have call their customer service, that I should fill form through contact me page but till now, no access to delete. What can I do please? Today is 22nd already, it’s a long stay talent visa

Is this error on Tls or the main application?
If it’s on Tls then start another application on the France site and get a new reference number then use that to get your booking slot.

It’s an error on my side, am applying for a group of 6 and maximum is 5, I didn’t know about it and when I finished filling I wanted to proceed to booking and it gave a prompt “ due to the number of persons in your group, contact support through the line or fill out the form, I have filled out the form since June 12th, no instructions to delete the old and begin the new. Should I keep waiting or proceed to use another email and start another applicationhuh

Did all of this happen on the TLS website?

I also made a mistake when filling in my details while booking a TLS appointment. I started a new application on the France visa website using the same email address and received a new reference number. With that new reference number, I went back and was able to book my appointment on TLS.

It will be better to start a new application instead. Time is already going, and it can take more than two months for them to process and respond to a long-stay visa application.

I started creating a new application and using same email address, it says email address already in use.

Use another email then. In my case I still used the same e-mail and it worked because that's the only one I have.

Has anyone who applied in May started receiving pickup messages?

I’d like to know if the waiting period has changed or if we’re still looking at about two months before getting a response.

Thank you.
