TheSuperNerd:You could have stylishly ignored this statement of yours "Nwabali has his big arms that covers more distance with his throws than what Okoye delivers with his legs", but you decided to defend it head on believing that such a front will conceal the error contained in your statement. The tactical insights contained in my profiling of Maduka Okoye's and Stanley Nwabali's goalkeeping is something that should stir admiration, but no. They weren't actually written for you anyway, they were written for the people who are more poised to see the quality within our grasp. When it comes to defense organisation, both goalkeepers are vocal, with Maduka being more calm in his approaches. |

How many of us noticed our deployment of the "offside trap" in the matches against Poland and Portugal. This is a pure revelation of Maduka Okoye advanced goalkeeping skills.. |

Kog45:Both goalkeepers are somehow built differently and the situations they can handle well are quite unique, but to me Okoye edges in the overall, and his approaches to goalkeeping are more modern. Anyways, you are free to have your preference. |

What Nwabali does with his arms for distribution is factual. I did not make that statement to spite Okoye. It is just facts. Anyone who truly watched the last two Afcons or any of Nwabali's other competitive games will know it is. Comments have also been made on this thread praising Nwabali's distributionw via his big arm throws. Finally, there is nothing to admire in epistles meant to elevate Okoye as some god between the sticks. He is not better than what Nwabali has shown in the GWG. Maybe someday, he will get there but for now, Nwabali trumps Okoye in several aspects already mentioned. So again, rest the need to pamper Okoye. He needs improvements big time. Meliforme: |

MetalJigsaw:This is not true. Every professional goalkeeper organises his defense and communicates with them. Some goalkeepers are more vocal than the others and Maduka Okoye is even among the vocal ones. |

"Nwabali has his big arms that covers more distance with his throws than what Okoye delivers with his legs" Proof. Just one of several examples. Not mere yappings like you are dropping as epistles. Meliforme: |

Thirteen football federations, including those of Morocco and Senegal, on Sunday criticized comments by UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin suggesting that the expansion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to 48 teams had resulted in “uninteresting” matches, according to Ouest France. |

Yan Diomande is the most valuable African player on the market today and for good reasons. Brilliant and powerful two-way winger. He against Zaidu is a mismatch in terms of High-end technicality meeting low-end technicality but in terms of raw power and speed, it may shock you to know that Zaidu will keep up with Diomande. In a foot race, it is hard for most fast wingers to beat Zaidu. An example of this footrace/power matchup is Edmund Tapsoba vs Yan Diomande in the Bundesliga this past season. Leverkusen won 4-1. Tella scored. Tapsoba is one of the fastest CBs in world football and playes LCB in Leverkusen's 3 man defence that day so he came up against Diomande on a good number of occasions helping Grimaldo (LWB) too. Yan struggled that day. SymphonyRad: |

In all, like I already said... 👇🏽 Up to Liverpool & Other elites. Also comfortable when he switches wings from RW to LW. TheSuperNerd: |

9JAMac10:No be lie o, 48 teams is too much and countries like Senegal and Morocco who have always qualified before the expansion shouldn’t be complaining |

England squad is majority black, France squad is majority black, Netherlands has a bunch of black players, so does Germany and even Spain has two black players. Yet those countries still racist. It's time all these black players start playing for the countries of their parents |

It is all political. Just like how Johnbullmyson pointed out when I reported Somali Ref, Omar Artan being denied US entry visa for the FIFA WC but getting appointed by UEFA to officiate the 2026 Uefa Super Cup Final. I knew of the political undertones but just focused on what it means for Artan. Uefa president Ceferin and FIFA Boss, Infantino dont see eye to eye on certain football matters with huge financial implications. What he says may seem true but it is not the original message. At its core, he attacks Infantino's sense of decision makings in terms of competition expansions as against Ceferin's and Uefa's desire to protect & maintain European football dominance. For example, Ceferin hates the idea of the Expanded Club World Cup and its huge financial package which he feels rivals the UCL's financial status. This and more is just part of their ongoing feud over who truly dominates the affairs of football financially. Goke7: |

TheSuperNerd:Maduka Okoye's long kicks can cover even greater distances. You cannot compare throws of the ball with kicks of the ball. The mechanical power generated by the human leg is more immense compared to the human arm. I can't even believe that you are refuting this. It is unbelievable. |

Someone said that this CIV team will comfortably best the Super Eagles Lollll. I know the SE limits and yes, we didn't qualify but common guys!!! We wouldn't have performed as poorly as Tunisia na. Haba Our only weak links in this tram are Zaidu and Moses Simon. I think it's high time they retire. They offer nothing in this team except for bodies |

TheSuperNerd:Am just concerned about the quality of the competition going forward and its feasibility. I know it’s now a world of inclusion but there must be a balance especially for countries to host if not just like Afcon many countries will start running away from hosting and we may be at the mercy of few powerful nations like the US cos how many countries can host a competition of 48 or 64 countries if it’s expanded again. This is the danger for me |

Ebuehi was solid in the few matches we played then during the buildup to the 2018 WC. Idowu used Argentina match to deceive us. Same way Ogbeiche used bicycle kick against Paraguay before 2002 WC to fool everyone say we don get striker. Kog45: |
