Tunisia don fire their coach. Them fit bid 200k per month for Chelle now😁
Loll. True that

But chelle no go wan go

What makes chelle different is that he actually believes in the Nigerian talent pool and feels like it's an honor to actually coach Nigeria

Hmmm... fair point though. Expanded WCs is not one that can be easily hosted by all nations.

Goke7:
Am just concerned about the quality of the competition going forward and its feasibility. I know it’s now a world of inclusion but there must be a balance especially for countries to host if not just like Afcon many countries will start running away from hosting and we may be at the mercy of few powerful nations like the US cos how many countries can host a competition of 48 or 64 countries if it’s expanded again. This is the danger for me

Both goalkeepers are somehow built differently and the situations they can handle well are quite unique, but to me Okoye edges in the overall, and his approaches to goalkeeping are more modern.

Anyways, you are free to have your preference.
Okoye na modern keeper and Nwabali na gbegiri keeper abi, wahala dey o

How many of us noticed our deployment of the "offside trap" in the matches against Poland and Portugal. This is a pure revelation of Maduka Okoye advanced goalkeeping skills..
Oga are you talking about another Okoye cuz i dey gbadun this your packaging

Real packaging. Offside trap that saw C.Ronaldo get level with our defensive line and skip past our so called Okoye-inspired "trap" twice only to miscue both efforts.

Honestly, it is hilarious packaging.

Kylian Mbappe is finally telling himself the truth. But let us see if he will walk the truth.

This is a major reason Luis Enrique was glad to be rid of Mbappe at PSG. That is, him not stepping up defensively and running like the others.

His new coach at Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho is keenly watching too.

19 y/o Hoffenheim lad, Emmanuel Chukwu, CB secures loam move to Newly promotoed SC Austria Lustenau in the Austrian Bundesliga for the 2026/27 season.

Austria Lustenau won the Austrian Bundesliga 2 title for 2025/26.

Culled from Lustenau's site...

EMMANUEL CHUKWU MOVES FROM HOFFENHEIM TO LUSTENAU ON LOAN

Shortly before the start of training, Austria Lustenau presented their latest signing. The club from the Rhine has secured Emmanuel Chukwu on loan from TSG Hoffenheim. The central defender has signed a loan contract in Lustenau until the summer of 2027.

The Nigerian moved from his home country to the German Bundesliga club Hoffenheim in February 2025. After spending the first half of the year with Hoffenheim's U19 team, he transferred to Wolfsberger AC last August. The 1.90-meter-tall defender made ten Bundesliga appearances for the Lavanttal club last season. Now, the 19-year-old, who can play in several defensive positions and has already made six appearances for Nigeria's U20 national team, is moving to Lustenau in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

Emmanuel Chukwu: “Joining SC Austria Lustenau felt like the right step for me at this stage of my career. The club's vision, the professionalism of everyone involved, and the opportunity to play at a high level made the decision easy. I'm really looking forward to this new chapter and can't wait to get started with my new teammates and the fantastic fans. ”

Sporting director Dieter Alge: "Emmanuel possesses excellent physical attributes and outstanding tackling skills. Furthermore, his dynamism and speed will provide additional stability to our defense. Emmanuel also has qualities in playmaking. We are looking forward to an exciting defender."

True. Vs Brazil 1-1 after the Afcon in 2019 and vs Argentina when he played the second 45mins in that 2017 4-2 win. Time has flown.

The Saudi 2-2 howler game from Uzoho was 2023. Lol. I think I still have that moment Ndidi looked at Uzoho.

Ezenwa was even delivering at some point even though we also hit him for some onfield antics he overdid. But we were never assured with Ezenwa.... we were just managing the guy.

Harcourt is still at Sporting Lagos. Andy Ezekiel is still at Bayelsa utd.

Aside the local lads, we still have GKs coming through in Europe as well... let me drop some from my database.

✅️Chijioke Aniagboso, 22 (Chernomorets Odesa, Ukraine)... just got promoted to Ukrainian Topflight. Former Flying Eagles GK in the 2023 class that produced Benjamin Frederick.

✅️Colin Andrew, 22 (Zbrovojka Brno, Czech 2nd tier 🇳🇬🇨🇿)... just promoted to Czech Liga. Naija Father, Czech Mum. Eligible for us now as he is yet to play for Czech U21s or any Czech team. Made their bench 2ce though.

✅️Simeon Rapsch, 19 (Bayer Leverkusen U19, 🇩🇪🇳🇬) Young man needs no switch

✅️Mark Nnamdi Ugboh, 22 (FC Midtjylland, Den)... been out on loans

✅️Ovie Ejeheri, 23 (FC Midtjylland, Den)... been on loans... was good at Fredericia before injury struck. He trained with us at the Unity Cup so Chelle saw him upclose.

✅️Samuel Friday James, 20 (SJK/SJK II, Finland... Veikkausliiga/Ykkosliiga) - Former Mavlon FA GK prospect now in Europe and making a name for himself.

It is just a matter of time really.

We have Arthur who has come in and will settle soon. Okoye to still keep growing... and Nwabali to return once he lands a club this summer.

For DM... Chelle is already addressing that. Chelle is actually after even more technically composed midfield profiles. AMs who can play deep.
For the next u17, they better mix foreign borns and academy boys well. All the bias used to shut out FBs at cadet level, I can't see the results anywhere in last 8years fo male and female.

Make we just wake up day and by mistake see Enyeama 2.0. omo!!

TheSuperNerd:
Yan Diomande is the most valuable African player on the market today and for good reasons. Brilliant and powerful two-way winger. He against Zaidu is a mismatch in terms of High-end technicality meeting low-end technicality but in terms of raw power and speed, it may shock you to know that Zaidu will keep up with Diomande. In a foot race, it is hard for most fast wingers to beat Zaidu.

An example of this footrace/power matchup is Edmund Tapsoba vs Yan Diomande in the Bundesliga this past season. Leverkusen won 4-1. Tella scored. Tapsoba is one of the fastest CBs in world football and playes LCB in Leverkusen's 3 man defence that day so he came up against Diomande on a good number of occasions helping Grimaldo (LWB) too. Yan struggled that day.
I hear you boss... but I'm NEVER willing to take my chances on such a match up on a Zaidu vs Diomande battle regardless, especially in a crucial game for that matter. Zaidu can run as fast as a Cheetah for all he wants in a foot-race slug against a Diomande, the fact remains he's just not good enough for the standard we're trying to set in our darling Super Eagles going forward, that was the whole point of my thinking out loud imagination.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:36pm On Jun 15
Lol, neither am I. I am never risking Zaidu vs Diomande... the technical side will always win in Zaidu's case. It wont be all foot races in the end but just pointing out that once in a while, Yan does meet his match and the flow of a game can reduce the battle to foot races. But all things/angles considered, Yan will eat Zaidu up man.

I strongly doubt Zaidu will even survive a 1v1 with Naija's next rising superstar, Zadok, all things considered. Lol

Ofcos... Ferran and Gavi are playing in their stead. Spain dont wanna rush Lamine and Nico into the starting XI for a side they understandably consider the weakest in the group. 1 of them or both could come off the bench later.

Real Madrid initially had no player in the Spanish side at the WC. It was gonna be historic coz the WC starting without a Madrid player on the Spanish team is unheard of.

But with Cucurella's purchase, the world cup with finish with Cucu being called a Real Madrid player.

Florentino Masterclass. grin grin

I can't recall a time we sacked a coach while the tournament is ongoing. Na always after or when we jaa finish. I think it's time to adopt that style😂

Chidera Ejuke still remains the most technical Super Eagles player.
PSG vs Arsenal UCL clash, i saw PSG players failing to pull dribbling maneuvres that Chidera Ejuke would normally perform.

His time will come.
