I’ve been on Nairaland for nearly 5 years and this is my first FTC!! I dedicate this to the children and teachers trapped in the bushes with their oppressors. May they return home safely.

Btw, Using OPay would have saved the woman all these stress.
Congratulations on your FTC but then OPay and the likes are not exempted from a customer making a wrong transfer...

If i were the one I'll take them to courts and cash out big time, I'll get advice from a good lawyer on how to go about it, if successful the lawyer will serve them court summon and after it change the said bank millions or Billions of Naira for damages for 17 months.

That's why I stick to my Opay for my day to day transaction, if any money enters my Gtb account then I'm the one sending it there.

Simple, this is 2026 and I feel we should have pass this level of transfer issues in banks.
Opay will reverse your money immediately if it doesn't go through.

Okay.

But you can't put your life savings in the mobile wallet.
You use it for other purposes.

Alright.
