A president who weakly declares in the open that the insecurity in the country is as a result of his opponents trying to get rid of him cannot inspire confidence in his troops. That was a cliché that was being bandied about by his lackeys but hearing it from his own mouth leaves a lot to be desired. He went further to declare himself as a stubborn politician who refuses to go away. Well, if Nigerians reject you at the polling unit come 2027, you will either go away or get the Laurent Gbagbo treatment.

The French turned against Gbagbo, that was cause of his downfall.
But Nigeria's plantation owners abroad are apparently in support of Tinubu. Until Nigeria caves in, who cares?

As much as I'd love to blame Tinubu for their deaths, what are the generals in the military doing with their power and titles while insecurity fosters? Is it only to oppress unarmed civilians?

Insecurity has been on a steady rise since GEJ's tenure, yet no solution was found by all these so called generals, now they are becoming victims.

It's so sad!

Right....... So Commander in Chief need to command so that Generals can fight when in battle, or CinC need to give them tactical resolution to be avenged, or.... Need to help them spend the huge budget allocated to Security, , oh... He needs to take the armour vehicle himself....

There structure is infiltrated... This one is not C-in-C wants to spare terrorists... The infrastructure we are using to combat them is compromised!
You give order, you threaten the chief in question, you replace the chief in question.

What else can you do in this case? It's not even a moral issue, it's not a funding issue, it's a conflict of interest, and complicit, compromise issue.

Do you bring another national to work above your military infrastructure? Them go use coupe komot you. Do you bring macineries.... May be. Do you work side by side with other military forces, probably. But does that isolate the structure from the inside moles? Not except you know them all.
