Which challenge again? My neighbour kept one one time, it was her native fowl that helped with the brooding.

Just give them same food as chickens... Keep them well and understand that they don't get as big as chickens.

They need heat, you can put a 60 watt bulb, then find a cage with tiny holes to put them.

Take them back and release them please. If you must raise something go and buy broilers and train those, they are easier to manage. Let these ones go back to their mother abeg.

It has spiritual implications, though not everyone believes that. You can hardly find an ordinary person rearing it. In fact, once people see you rearing it, they automatically assume it's connected to some spiritual purpose. You have elders around you, so kindly make your findings from them as well.

Honestly, It's meat is the sweetest, just not good for rearing sha.

Pls if you know you can't keep them you better return them back to there mother for care. Don't go and dumb them somewhere were they will later die.

First why are you imprisoning them all in the name of training?

They’re doing fine without you caging them.

The best way to train them is by freeing them .

Leave them alone.

Get a good cage for them where they can't easily fly away and as they are growing make sure you defether them regularly, buy starter feed for them and later change it to grower's mash

Ahh I just dey see the small bucket prison when you put those birds. If you no get bigger cage or empty room to convert to their place make you free them abeg. cos they will die off one by one from ammonia poisoning from their droppings or break their necks. Free them

These are quails buddy. Just feed them with normal poultry food and water but also know that they are excellent flight birds.. so better cage them properly or watch them fly away when they grow feathers.

Honestly, you can tame quails, but don't kid yourself, it takes a ton of patience. They are prey animals right down to their bones, so they're naturally jumpy and easily spooked. If you really want to succeed, your best move is to raise them from chicks so they imprint on you from day one.

They are quails known as aparo in Yoruba.

These are not quails or guinea fowls. Francolinus bicalcaratus or African Bush Fowl is a member of the Patridge family.
