The practice of one's faith can sometimes appear robotic. Living within the frameworks of a structured system of belief and practices on earth, with a connotation that references the heavenly. requires careful consideration. What if or what not continues to spring up in the inner man. Then, at the end of it all, to be casted aside as a nobody in heaven. This makes one to focus on what matters the most. The word of God tells us that fairness, love, mercy and humility is what matters most. We believe and we live in accordance to this instruction. Then, before God and man, we are deemed good. That is the practice of a true religion. God bless Brethren 🙌

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV Whatever good deeds we can think of as a passmark is worthless before God unless we believe in His only begotten Son. What you should be asking is how can we truly prove that we believe in God's only begotten Son? |

MaxInDHouse:Faith without works is what? Dead Faith (Belief) in God via his only begotten son is not enough. Genuine faith (Belief) must be demonstrated through actionable deeds. By their fruits , you shall know them. What fruits.? Gal 5:22-23 Yes, with good deeds on its own, one cannot earn salvation. However, good deeds are still natural fruits and proof that ones faith is alive, transformative and genuine. This concept can be compared to the human body. Just as a body without a spirit is deemed a lifeless corpse, faith (belief) without corresponding deeds is also lifeless corpse. ![]() |

What most people don't understand is that it's impossible to have faith without works so James is not telling you that there is faith without works rather he is telling you that there is no faith without works. To understand James 2:26 well consider this statement and try to rephrase it. A woman who has nothing to do with a man is dead to motherhood. Is it possible for a woman to become a mother while having anything to do with a man? Of course that's impossible so without faith you can't work that is what James is saying! So what does it really mean to believe in God's only begotten Son? Is it just by claiming you believe in Jesus? Take for instance someone is shouting up and down the town: "Only Mr V can save us in this country, he has all the potentials needed to serve as our president, he is a bonafide son of the soil and he's been working round the clock to make our country great again. In fact when he becomes our president he will solve all our problems" Do you think such a person truly believes in Mr V? Well by the words of his mouth you will think he does but then has he: Registered to get a voter's card? Associate with members of the party? Participate in the party's programs? Move to all territories to ensure voters? Fearlessly come out and vote for Mr V? If he doesn't do all of these do you think he truly believes in Mr V? Hebrews 11:6🙂 yommyuk: |
