Flets:My friend, self-deception is perhaps the hardest disease to cure because the patient is also the doctor. As the proverb says: "No one is more blind than the man who has decided not to see." According to you, Obi won. According to Atiku, Atiku won. According to Kwankwaso, perhaps he also won. Yet INEC says Tinubu won, and the courts agreed. Tell me, did Atiku also rig Obi into third place? Did Kwankwaso rig Obi too? Or are we now operating a democracy where every losing candidate crowns himself winner? You say it is "too glaring." But what is glaring to faith is not necessarily evidence. And please spare us the "average politician can defeat Tinubu" theory. If Tinubu is so unpopular, why have two years of economic pain and opposition mobilisation failed to produce a consensus alternative? Self-deception is a dangerous thing. As our elders say: "The man who deceives himself has an accomplice he can never escape." True! Obi won in Rivers and Benue. He also won Akwa Ibom hands down but Udom Emmanuel rigged it for PDP. Obi basically won in 15 states, Atiku 11, Tinubu 10. Then is most states Obi's votes were massively reduced (Lagos is obvious example). In South East, most of the voting booths didn't receive materials until 3pm when most of the voters have already gone home. These are obvious facts |

Then you say the judges had already been bought. Pray tell, what should he have done instead? Seize power? Declare himself President from his sitting room? As our elders say: "The man who rejects the referee after losing the match should not have agreed to play the game." And another: "A child who says the market judges are corrupt should tell us where else disputes are settled." You cannot voluntarily enter a process and then reject the outcome simply because it displeases you. That is defective thinking. Or as another proverb puts it: "He who blames the mirror for his ugly face will break every mirror in the house and still remain unchanged." If the courts were bought, where is the evidence? And if every institution is compromised whenever your candidate loses, then perhaps the problem is not with the institutions but with your willingness to accept reality. The problem is that even if they give Obi 100% of the votes in Lagos and Rivers, it still wouldn't be enough to make him win. Obi did not win the last election. You do not need proof. We all witnessed what happened. Till today, no explanation on how the IREV portal and BVAS machines were manipulated. We also know how INEC back-end servers were monitored to track and sabotage the true winner. When Tinubu was LU LE-ING, they sprung into action and VIOLA! The “GLITCH” happened!😂 |
