Why couldn’t Morocco punish Brazil after taking the lead, why couldn’t Egypt punish Belgium after taking the lead, see Senegal wasting goal scoring opportunities just to end up losing 3-1 to France(who say France is not beatable mtscheeww) Let me not even talk about the phoolish Tunisia and SA always hyper during qualifiers but going there to play rubbish… I will only pat Capeverde on the back for holding spain…but watch them lose to Uruguay and Saudi and you will be wondering why d initial spainsh gra gra. Panama wey Ghana suppose paste this night watch playing a draw or losing while either Croatia or England wins leaving Ghana on 3rd or bottom… Even CIV u no trust them, their game against Ecuador was heading for a draw until Diomande/Amad brilliance popped out…CIV go play Curacao now dey win with low margin or phoolishly drawing the match while Ecuador will paste them and try to upset Germany.. Las Las by Match day 3 watch 95% of Afrcian rep scrambling for that 3rd position survival. See as Japan pin Netherland Just ensure they are within automatic qualifying Position. See as Korea beat Czech just to ensure they are within automatic qualifying position. See Saudi Arabi ensuring they too are not in panic mode. Senegal sorry you cant beat Norway abeg. Scotland will kee themselves to remain in that top VS Morocco Egypt forget you cant beat the table toppers and the free scoring New Zealand CIV should just avoid heavy anything 2-0 or 3-0 from Germany…cos Ecuador will mount Curacao with goals to go second and heap pressure on CIV Tunisia and SA is out of the worldcup abeg Respect to our golden generation of super eagles who gave us the bragging right as giant of Africa qualifying as group leaders back to back of world cup group stage (1994 and 1998) Cameroon did it once in 1990, Morocco did it twice(1986 and 2022) Africa is really struggling |

The opening games of big teams define their character. Argentina lost its opening game against Saudi Arabia at the last world cup yet went on to win the tournament. Spain lost its opening game in 2010 to Switzerland and still won the tournament. We càn go on and on in history to see this pattern. If there is one side that is capable of adjusting itself and reinventing itself, it's easily the Spanish team with it's given quality. Mujtahida: |

The son sef didn't cover himself in glory for the first and second goal. Nigeria as we mid reach only restricted Messi to minimum of 2 goals anytime we faced him. TheSuperNerd: |

Messi did not even score Enyeama in 2010. Infact, Enyeama is the reason Messi did not have a single goal in the 2010 WC. 😂😂😂 That edition is the reason Messi has scored in 5 WCs and not 6WCs like Ronaldo will potentially do if he bags vs DRC today or against Colombia and Uzbekistan later in the group stage. chrisooblog: |

I was flailing this world cup some days back saying that we didn't even get to see location and stadium compilations. Omo, strength does not need noise. The kind of breathtaking stadiums America has is mouth gaping. Country pass country oo. |

Tolu, ekong, boniface, awoniyi. major culprits of our campaign. Lookman too seeing that he played 10/11 matches in the qualifiers and could only generate 1 goal contribution and 2 yellow cards. Oh well, the tournament is underway, nothing else to do than enjoy the tournament as neutrals and prepare for the qualifiers of the next world cup starting next year. i know some of us have picked a country to support but it can not feel the same as supporting your own BascoVanVeli: |

Most of the stadiums used are for 'football'. They just made some changes to the surface from artificial turf to grass and some other minor changes like that. America has always had stadiums. Just surprised people are noticing it now. Pre season games, copa america and most recently the club world cup were all played in the US. Mujtahida: |
