It is 💯%. Designed to damage the political standing of Tinubu approaching the January election.
And Chibok mass adoptions under Goodluck was done - to promote his government rating; right? The same APC that capitalized on security challenges in three North Eastern states to grab power; has finally distributed insecurity to the whole Federation - as dividends of Democracy! The worst governments we have witnessed in the history of Nigeria are the: governments of Buhari and Tinubu! Kiss the truth.

Then you have to carry guns enter bush to fight the terrorists. You can’t stay in governors house protected by police 24 hours and claim you will sacrifice your life for the captives.

Your president doesn’t even know the country has been overrun by terrorists. He hardly knows himself.

But unfortunately, the whole thing is beginning to look like a political gig, and that is deeply troubling.

This is precisely what some of us fear VDM is turning it into — content creation, grandstanding and performative activism.

There is a difference between demanding accountability and making yourself the centre of the story.

The kidnapped children should be the focus, not the influencer.

Families need results, not reels.

They need rescue, not rhetoric.

Activism is not a movie set, and national tragedies are not opportunities for personal branding.

Makinde too should resist the temptation of dramatic sound bites and concentrate on delivering results.

This is not the time for political theatre.

Children are in captivity.

VDM has every right to speak, protest and demand action. [b]But when grief becomes content and tragedy becomes stagecraft, we must ask hard questions.
It mindboggling when an average citizens is reasoning like this, lets take d question one by one
Is the goal rescue, or relevance?
What relevance can possibly come out of this to (a) Seyi makinde or (b) that they don't have already.
What possible gain can Seyi makinde get from a protest in his state, Politically ?

a man that can't secure OYo want to promise Nigeria security in a debate ? who buys that

Is the aim pressure, or performance?
This one does even make sense, You apc zombies always shout hold the governors accountable ... Why is this not looking like holding Seyi accountable to apc zombies, critical questions were asked, what are you doing ? Why cant we plan for collateral damages n get rid of the animals once n for All

Because abducted children are not campaign material.
how can someone use children in captive to campaign he is better, when feasibility of rescue agencies are in the hands of opposed, is that not own goal if Tinubu rescue them. Will apc not take the glory as they now boast, kidnappes school children we always get them back ...who is campaigning ??

Makinde too must be careful. Saying “Oyo is not Chibok” may sound bold, but families do not need slogans. They need results, coordination, intelligence, rescue and communication.
Careful about what, OYo is not chibok, in yoruba we praise Oyo kin se bii baba ení kan,
Since the incident, the oyo govt have being engaging the public, they've maintain communication and restore assurances, go to oyo today the security are on red alert ! Travel round
But as Seyi rightfully said the bucks stil falls on the peesident table ..cos he Tinubu decides for security agencies method of rescue, Seyi can only be useful in " ransom"

Not activists.

Not politicians.

Not media influencers.

The facts are painful: armed men attacked schools in Oriire LGA on May 15, and reports say dozens of pupils, students and teachers were abducted. ICIR reported 46 victims; Vanguard reported Makinde’s vow that Oyo would not become Chibok.

So let us be the clear.

Hold government accountable.

Demand urgent rescue.

Question security failures.

But stop converting abducted children into political currency.
Don't just insinuate, show us how this particular incident have elevate seyi where he can't call shots

In borno, recently over 300 victims rescued did any glory go to the Governors, can you read what military & FG release as statement out

Nigeria needs sober action, not emotional choreography.
🤣 Big shame, you sound educated buh look what sycophancy as reduced you to, protest from military HQ, across states to Governor office is emotional choreography

I have a friend he is a lawyer, Apc card carrying member, in the desperation to always defend Tinubu all time, even his wife na look at him n shake head

Graduated with 2'1 in law, buh when is defending Tinubu i feel like crying for him ...why reduce yourself so low mentally

Tinubu's Government is the best since 1999. As Reno Omokri stated "Nigerians are only concerned with Rice and Eba". Yorubas tag it "elebi". If it does not concern food, most Nigerians are not interested.

The critically required policy initiatives and reforms that would have made Nigeria a developed nation today, had it begun say in the eighties rather than that Presidents after Presidents avoiding them, are what Tinubu is bravely implementing today.

Fuel subsidy was a scam bankrupting Nigerian while massively enriching a few. Subsidizing of the Naira , to shore up it's value artificially was scamming also.

That is because it was designed to create huge disparity between black market and official rate of Naira to benefit the bureau de change profiteering the North was addicted to yet will keep Nigeria never better than Afghanistan if it endured. .

Check the images below to note you need to improve your knowledge.

Nigeria's CBN became world central bank of the year for the first time ever under Tinubu because of multiple measure to deliver fiscal discipline that will move us away from rogue nation status, previous Presidents has created, towards a Country the world will be confident investing in because she is approaching best global practices/standard.

I believe it is the poor grasp of the deeply structural nature of Nigeria's problem, by most Nigerians, that prevents the adults in our nation appreciating solutions required to then note Tinubu is apply those exact solutions.

Governor Makinde should Rest ,please 🥺 !
For it took him -Weeks before commenting on the Kidnapping of the 40 - School -Children of Oyo State and their Mothers and Fathers, but you are the 1st -Citizen of the State,
-So Why Was he Silent- for too long ,when it matters Most or he did not know that People are Watching and Monitoring him in this Case,as a Governor?
Besides,he was speaking with the Protesters, this week in Ibadan, but instead of him saying - that Both the Oyo State and the Federal Government Are On Top of the Security -Challenges,he was Chewing his Words,as if he Can do the Rescue 🛟 of these Children taking to Captivity All Alone, but Why - because he wants to blame the Federal government ,as he is interested in Presidential race and Of Course, the ambition is good but give Credit to Federal Government too,For Constantly Briefing the Nigeria People on this Serious matter 😁
•It is Well with Oyo State and
•It is Well with Nigeria and those who are behind all this Insecurity Will Not Have Peace and this Insecurity -Phase, Shall Pass Away,in Nigeria.

Reforms cannot work until certain things are put in place. In 10 years time I will like to revisit this thread to talk about how the reforms have done far more harms than good.

This country cannot progress until certain things are done:

1. New rules to kill whoever is found stealing public funds or being very corrupt in government. They should be killed immediately found guilty.

2. Religion and tribalism must be put down to size. They should stop teaching religion in schools as reality, rather as a branch of philosophy. They should stop attaching much to tribes. Rather, people should focus on working together as one.
I would have suggested banning religion, but let's leave that one aside for now.

3. This country too is very big and people of totally contrary way of lives are crammed together. The country should split. I would have asked for 8 countries coming out of this condemned cake, but maybe 4 is okay for now.

4. Revolution should be held to capture all these rulers who are offering nothing good. They need to be flushed out of the system.

Then why will they attack and kill those innocent teachers and pupils?

It is better if the politicians directs the politics of blood on themselves, on each other instead of descending on these innocent poor hapless people that have absolutely nothing to do with their bloody politics.
