Martinez should stop this nonsense of wanting to start Ronaldo at all cost…Ronaldo’s ineffectiveness is just smelling around the pitch…He has made his mark, he has scored his own hattrick in 2018 against a more super Spain..at this point he needs to be coming off the bench maybe like in the 75th or 80th mins…allow young guys dictate this play abeg…at 40 baba has paid his dues…stop starting him by fire by force abeg

Spain wasn't super in 2018.

I wont have a fair discourse on this with an allout Messi fanboy. That VAR ignored it is part of what I refer to but let it rest.

Sugarboyy:
Nothing will happen to Mandi or his career trust me. He might still end's up officiating the final of this WC.
Don't forget there is var, why didn't the var guys called him to check the foul?

Bruno Fernandes and Joao Neves are the spark in this game for Portugal. Wan-Bissaka is not giving Ronaldo a breathing space
You people are just hyper focused on Ronaldo that it’s affecting your judgement.

Portugal’s entire attack especially Ronaldo have not really seen the ball that much because midfield is playing too complacently, holding the ball for too long and waiting for clear cut spaces.

So Wan-bissaka marking Ronaldo has been of little impact cos passes are not even coming in to start with.

In Nigeria, children are to be seen, not heard.

The mentality also extends to Nigerian youths. It's why old hags keep hogging government jobs and political positions like say dem wan die for office. Meanwhile youths are crying about unemployment.
Na government dey create jobs?

What did I say again about Yoane Wissa? Fearless and capable.

DRC have responded well to going down to be fair. They worked hard off the ball while Portugal had all the possession and restricted the Portuguese threats.

DRC's first WC Goal in their history. The name is Yoane Wissa.
That’s how your big players should step up and be counted! Lesson for Senegal

Like this one yesterday. FIFA dark arts. Red for some and nothing for some.
If I was the ref I'd give him a yellow for dangerous play without malicious intent.

I recall how miffed I was at Iwobi's red against Tunisia at AFCON 21.

That rule is too lazy. C'mon some of these things are accidental to natural body movement.

Good analysis. The commentators observed same. I observe same. Bruno, Silva and Ronaldo have not been in this game because they have not exactly seen enough of the ball to do damage with.
Of the 3, Bruno has seen it more but not in areas where he does the most damage via final passes or shots.

But kudos to DRC for making it so as well. Their offball work have been tops and contributed to Portugal's struggles in attacking transitions.

Yea, a more reason i called them super spain…no matter how tough the portuguese are, the “ not inform” spain will stretch it out with them…thats european power house derby match with CR7 netting a hattrick

And Gbam! One of the 3 is replaced... Fran Conceicao, Portugal's winner vs Nigeria in for New Madrid signing, Bernardo Silva.

So according to your brilliant logic, capital infrastructure, public schools, and regulatory frameworks are socialist myths?

If the Ministry of Labor isn’t tasked with fostering employment policies and job creation strategies, what exactly are they doing? Collecting salaries for vibes? Eh, genius?

What many teams are.missing in this tournament is a traditional creative central midfielder

It'd not just a Nigerian problem. Even France had to rely on their wingers for creativity yesterday

That's why many matches seem very boring

If no one's going to say it, I will.

Portugal is trash.

In fact, their playing like this makes our friendly loss to them look even worse. Granted, we didn't have our full squad.
