Lol. Extra time 120th minute individual brilliance/miracle by Boulbina.

Also, I feel like if Wissa played in that game, DRC would have converted at least one of their chances against Algeria and we would have gotten a rematch of the WC playoffs.

The unjustified hype about Portugal is insane. A team with an abundance of technical talent, but no substance,no creativity and pace and a very weak defence

Portugal playing sluggishly
Congo one on one tackles excellent
Good score for another African team

If no one's going to say it, I will.

Portugal is trash.

In fact, their playing like this makes our friendly loss to them look even worse. Granted, we didn't have our full squad.
I don talk am before na

This was the most annoying part for me. Zero creativity, zero drive, too much wing play. Very distasteful football.

DRC has to make it to the world cup. Of all the African sides going to the world cup, DRC has the best squad after Senegal and Morocco. I love that team and they play their hearts out. I want them to decimate Jamaica today.
I still stand on this.

Nigeria doesn’t deserve to be at the World Cup.
DR Congo might just represent Africa better than Nigeria at the World Cup after all.

Martinez is playing with his source of livelihood

How can you have such a team on paper and you can't squeeze a win against a very inferior side

And I hate DRC so much BTW. They play nonsense football and I just hate them so much. Was hoping Portugal will best them like theives but it seems my hope was misplaced

If DRC weren’t trutly tested by world number 5th team, then its safe to say DRC is a top contender for the world cup cos like this its only Germany,France and Argentina that can give them that test😂🤣🤣…
Babaaa DRC is a f###king discipline team…They almost qualified ahead of senegal in their group stage…omo lets just accept that DRC is gradually joining the strong force of africa o…
The way they rallied back to equalize 1-1 against Portugal and most especially against Super eagles was scary…after equalizing us them come turn us to Capeverde…i shed tears seeing Nigeria holding on for their lives via ultra-defensive style UNDER ERIC CHELLE🤣🤣🤣🤣

2023 afcon Beat Egypt on Penalty to advance to Quarterfinals, beat Guinea 3-1 and lost in semifinal to a fairytale running CIV 1-0.

2025 afcon lost on penalty to Algeria…You just cant beat them…they will sha drag you to penalties

Lol. That DRC team is well designed to counter top tier teams. Insane physicality, insane stamina, good pressing, a stupidly strong defense and counter attacks that are swift and hard to stop.

You can't play against DRC and be as lethargic and undecisive as Portugal were today. You have to be disciplined, organized and most importantly, very fast and technical. You also must not waste any chances. And you must match them in speed and physicality.

The only team I'm 100 percent certain that won't just manage a 1-0 or 2-1 win over DRC but can actually try and take them apart is maybe France. I honestly can't vouch for the others, though I could be wrong.

The best game to watch to understand how to neutralize this DRC side is the Senegal vs DRC world cup qualifier game that Senegal won 3-2.

Actual garbage performance by Ronaldo today, walking around. Not being on position to score when he should have. Couldn’t create any chances. Garbage
