Currently now Morocco is world number 6th…thise guys are gradually breaking our record…they just climbed Portugal now…and spain is also having a free fall from top 5..
Like this Norway is the only team that can leapfrog us if they keep putting up good show..currently Iran who is immediately ahead of us has dropped 4points that may see Nigeria climb to 24th😅😅 or if Norway keep showing some excellent stuff they will overtake both Nigeria and Iran
Morocco has shown the world they can play attacking football
Last time they were at the tournament they came to defend
Imagine how DRC & Cape Verde will become in a few years with their World cup exposure
Frightening

I'm not really sure but the keeper had his right foot on the line right?

Must it be both feet?
Its been shown clearly now on replay, his both feets were off the line

PDPGuy:
At least one foot has to be on the line.
However, the Croatian keeper had both feet off the line; I know the broadcast picture didn’t show a clear picture, but the stadium’s big screen showed the keeper’s two feet clearly off the line before he saved the penalty
Oh.. His feet were off the line. They just show a clearer replay now

Lol. That DRC team is well designed to counter top tier teams. Insane physicality, insane stamina, good pressing, a stupidly strong defense and counter attacks that are swift and hard to stop.

You can't play against DRC and be as lethargic and undecisive as Portugal were today. You have to be disciplined, organized and most importantly, very fast and technical. You also must not waste any chances. And you must match them in speed and physicality.

The only team I'm 100 percent certain that won't just manage a 1-0 or 2-1 win over DRC but can actually try and take them apart is maybe France. I honestly can't vouch for the others, though I could be wrong.

The best game to watch to understand how to neutralize this DRC side is the Senegal vs DRC world cup qualifier game that Senegal won 3-2.
You're 100% right, especially when you mentioned france

This is the reason Nigwria can't afford to be sleeping

NFF should be sanitized. They are the bane to football devt in Nigeria

Because the whole world is catching up to Europeans and south Americans

Football is now everyone's game

Unpopular opinion but dinosaurs like modric, Ronaldo etc Al should start from the bench

While their experience is vital, they may hinder the progress of their teams of they keep starting games

Just that if Portugal start to show us small flash of their brilliance our players will begin to cower….Most of our boys too dey fear when the going is getting tougher

Zlatko Dalić is the current manager of the Croatia national football team, a position he has held since October 2017.
Under his leadership, Croatia secured a runners-up finish in the 2018 World Cup, a third-place finish in the 2022 World Cup, and runners-up in the 2023 UEFA Nations League.

I love countries that believe in steady building of team and growth..imagine since 2017(9yrs as the coach)
