Ofemannnu:Have Igbos destroyed any property around them? Jealous of their resilience and sense of industry. With all the marginalization they still stand. A lot to envy.👍🏽 |

mrvitalis:And by Nigeria, it doesn't include you. Rather, Igboland belongs to Nigeria by virtue of conquest. You were conquered in battle and all your land, resources and people belong to the winners. To better understand, go and look at the map of the big pipe sucking gas out of the East and look at the destination of the pipe. Then, look at what who is collecting the money. |

mrvitalis: The hate against Igbos is mainly amplified by Lagos politics. Generally, Igbos are welcomed in majorly of Yoruba states. Lagos is just like Abuja that was developed by the common wealth of Nigeria. It's only a baby or an ignorant person that believes Lagos should be solely for a particular tribe. We all are witness to how Abuja is being developed by the common wealth of Nigeria. In case tomorrow, if some indigenous tribes of FCT starts claiming they developed it by themselves. A country that makes politics a lucrative business will always create room for tribal and religious bigotry to win election. It's all about looting the common wealth. Those at the top mingle with people of various tribes. Lagos state is the smallest state in Nigeria, but it's being choked with development to the disadvantage of other states with similar characteristics. |

| Re: To Yorubas Can You Guys Tell Us Igbo Offense In Lagos by lawani(m): 3:59am On Jun 18 |
9japride:The difference between Lagos and Abuja is clear. The Yoruba are over 70 percent in Lagos maybe 80 percent while the natives of Abuja may not be up to 20 percent in the city. The Yoruba of the SW are also already shortchanged in representation at the center. 55 million people have 18 senators while another zone of 19 million have 15 senators awarded by the 1999 constitution However whether in Abuja, Lagos, Jos, Kaduna, Enugu or Onitsha, any Nigerian can contest elections anywhere and no one can stop them. Always remember to add that it does not apply only to Lagos. Lagos is being mentioned even more than Abuja. Why? When Lagos is not as cosmopolitan as Abuja, Kaduna, pH, Jos etc. The struggle you need to join however is for the SW to be given at least three times whatever the SE has from states to senators to house of Rep members and etc then for there to be a review every five years so that the representation at the center can be further increased or reduced according to the revenue sent to the center |

mrvitalis:We can act like South Africans and Ghanians that day will come when your cups are full.Dont Northerners chase you guys when you misbehave even in the one Nigeria. Nigeria will change one day and everyone willl go back to his region and form a nation along ethnic lines just like Europe.Nothing lasts forever. |

cocolacec:There is no country with a policy of excluding non natives that ended up prosperous. No examples of such. If you drive people out of your land, your land will end up poor. |

lawani: It seems you didn't understand the topic being discussed? Most Yoruba people have all abandoned their various states to Lagos. As for Abuja, Gbagyi tribe which are found in majority of the middle belt states of the country don't claim owner to Abuja. The true owners are only the Gbagyi people located in Abuja. As I said the hatred towards Igbos is mainly from Lagos politics and it's just a means used to win elections. As for representation at the centre, I don't know about that. Normally, the Eastern states are rich in agriculture, solid mineral and oil/gas. They aren't poor. There is a systematic scheme that is being done to limit the progress of the eastern region. Lagos is a Yoruba zone but due to the cosmopolitan nature and it's status as former capital, it's open for all to reside. Politics is a dicey matter. It will be nice if you can throw more light on the main question being asked on this thread?. |

Airlord2030: You can't do nothing to Igbos, they are like the Israelis. If you don't like them push for their independence. Due to fear of the unknown you won't. Igbos will be the happiest people on earth if they are allowed to stay on their own. |
| Re: To Yorubas Can You Guys Tell Us Igbo Offense In Lagos by NotOgaSeun: 6:19am On Jun 18 |
9japride:Ibos are not serious about the independence... They fought a war.. Their leader run away.. They lost. Now the new generation want their own country.. But they are scattered all over the country like almajari.. If you want your own country.. Tell all your people to go back home... Now tell your leaders to push secession bills at the senate... That's the only solution... But as long as you are everywhere.. Nobody is going to take you serious... |
