What does Sagey know when Obi has said that's the best course of action to take against the killers, and his supporters couldn't agree more. One of his ardent supporters even went as far as saying aggressively countering the activities of the murderers would amount to taking food out of peoples mouths, and that to become the president, one has to accommodate and pamper terrorists: whippersnapper:This, ladies and gentlemen, if the character of Gringori and his supporters. May Obi NEVER happen to Nigeria. |

Yeah, as much as I hate to say this, part of the way out of this crisis would involve rehabilitation. Back in the 1990's Sierra Leone and LIberia had brutal civil war. The war was perpetrated by some of the most brutal people ever like Foday Sankoh and several others. Many of these guys not only killed, they cut off people's limbs, raped, and so forth At the end of the war, many of them were rehabilitated. And even given money. Yes, the big dogs were to a large extent jailed but some got away. I know that people are going to abuse me, and call me names, but the alternative is 1. We shoot most of them, which is going to spark Boko Haram 3.0 2. We jail them in prisions that are not able to cope with the population. I HATE WHAT I AM SAYING RIGHT NOW. But that's how the world is. A lot of brutal war criminals have gotten away because quite simply there is no where we can kill every evil person in the world. Keep in mind that Boko also pressgangs people into their armies. Many don't join because they want to join, they join because they have no effing choice. I wisn this is not so. If it was up to me, I would send every boko guy to the great beyond. But we are not dealing with fantasies here Yes, we have to face cold effing reality. |

That is how Sharia law has made Christians in the north second class citizens, Muslims and terrorists have the upper hand in the north, there is no equality and fairness for Christians in the north |

LordIsaac:Repentant terrorists is an aberration... Like words and opposites.... They only pretend to repent to avoid the just punishment. Release them and they quickly go back.. it's an ideology that is lodged firmly in their skull... Some were even entered into the army for crying out loud! What a peculiar mess ! |

they go back to their vomit in no time, el salvador built a super max prison to hold drug gangs we need to build something similar for terrorist and kidnappers, we need to sever the bad citizens and forget about them their, they will serve as deterrence to those who thinks of going into such crime. el salvador crime rate has decrease significantly since the criminals realize that if caught you may never see sunlight again, |

hisexcellency34:Back in the days, when you kill and caught by government, government will kill you too ( Lawrence Anini, Monday Osunbor etc comes to mind) but nowadays, when you kill and caught by government, government gives you amnesty...just imagine! |

| Re: Amnesty For Repentant Terrorists Worsening Insecurity, Sagay Warns by flokii: 5:08pm On Jun 18 |
It doesn't even make sense.. asking killers to swear with quran and then release them to go and continue killing soldiers at the battle field.. what manner of stvpidity is that? Mr. President should stop such practice now, let there be capital punishment for terrorism if not this country won't progress. |
| Re: Amnesty For Repentant Terrorists Worsening Insecurity, Sagay Warns by flokii: 5:12pm On Jun 18 |
LordIsaac:It's calculated and deliberate.. whoever is behind such is applying the 48 laws of power. Once the security system is completely weakened, they'll reactivate the "repentant terrorists" and overrun the country. I'm sure they are hoping one of their own would be in power by then. |

Nobody should jail or kill any bandits or terrorists just inject them and turn them into slowpoke and release them to their families. |

I’m surprised that the north are now favoring deradicalization over outright killing or strenuous jail terms, punishment that fit the crime. The north superintended cutting people’s arms, as a deterrence for stealing back then. Kidnapping for ransom, killing of innocent people, banditry are grievous crimes, worse than stealing. Why the hypocrisy now? Unless the north are saying they don’t want lasting solutions to these problems |

You are encouraging the terrorist more by giving them benefits after killing people. If I see that you reward me after forcefully kidnap and kill people why would I stop? |
