Check the email the scammer emailed you with and compare it with his own, that same person that mailed you also sent me a mail which I ignored, I did not even bother to open it the moment I saw the heading.

He has repeatedly warned people on this same thing that happened to you.

UPDATES ON THE STUDY VISA APPOINTMENT SUSPENSION

Hello guys the suspension on Portugal 🇵🇹 Study visa appointment have been lifted, you can check the VFS website, while we wait for official notification
Meanwhile those waiting for appointment can still reachout to their schools, schools are still scheduling Visa appointment for their prospective students.
Those looking for admission, some schools are still on, while some others will open for admission application soon.
For those that want to legalize their documents for admission, you are aware that Portugal 🇵🇹 Embassy have abolish NUC follow up and verification fee applicants pay to get their documents verified and then legalize.
So when you submit your documents will me legalize within 1-2 weeks, so seize the opportunity to get your documents ready for admission application, because of the Universities in Portugal now are requesting for legalize certificate before they can offer you admission.

If Portugal 🇵🇹 visa application suspension for Nigerians was temporary, the main issue now is for you to apply to schools that can assist you with visa appointment, there are high indications that they may release visa appointment date through VFS, but nobody knows when the best belt is through the schs that gave you admission, I listed some of those schools here some time ago.
Yes lagos and VFS is recieving visa application on behalf embassy, infact I have someone that submitted last 2 weeks.
But I will tell you that those that submitted vosa application over 3 weeks now have not been called for interview. Because jo... traveled back to Portugal 🇵🇹 for 2 weeks holiday she will be back ending of next week.
Normally if you submit visa application you will be called within a week to come to Abuja for interview, so people that submitted waiting for interview should be patient, they will be called to come for interview after she is back.

With the rate of insecurity in this country can't they just cancel this interview or at least make it lagos and abuja.

For those that their school helped, did they reach out to the school via email? Several reach outs have been done to NOVA but they responded that they can't help in anyway

Nova IMS is currently not helping. People that got admission in the first and second admission phase are yet to get appointment dates. So anyone that still wants to apply should note this

University of Aveiro, University of Porto and Porto business sch is among them, my one my friend recently got her visa approved, it was Porto Business School and another person sent me a pre rejection letter embassy sent to her today, and she was not invite for interview, I blieve it was as a result of documents she submitted and even wrongly feeling Visa form can denial you visa, some don't know the sensitivity of arranging your documents well and also feeling your visa form correctly, these issues are very important, you don't know consult those that know to assist you.

I have been admitted in the university of Beira Interior. Though I have not paid fees. Do they assist their students for visa appointment booking?.

Freedomtours is a scammer. He just scammed me of 25k yesterday.
My spirit doesn't want to work with him, but he kept on persuading me. I graduated from OAU and 2024 certificate is yet to be ready. He said that he can help me to get it and I paid him 5k, 10k, 10k.
I have payment receipts.

I'm just a struggling corper that got an Erasmus Mundus offer. I have a deadline to send my documents to Europe and OAU is yet to release our certificate.

I will lose my admission and Scholarship if I don't send my documents to Europe next week.

If you can wait, wait before paying that sch fees, because Portugal 🇵🇹 is funny now, they don't assist, but that does mean they might not because that was the position of other schools before they start helping their students.
We are waiting for VFS Portal for appointment.
I will advice you to wait for now.

Yes after authenticaticating in ministry of Education in Benin Republic, it would be taking to their embassy here in Nigeria then to Portugal embassy for legalization.

I used an agent. It was so smooth and fast.
I didn't tell my school to send anything. I only scanned my documents and send to the agent. She authenticated it and it's on transit currently to Lagos from Abuja.

The email is correct.
If you just upload without using agent to fast track it, it will take time before they attend you. If you are in Abuja, that's fine, just go to the ministry.

After uploading your documents and making remital payment and getting email sent to MOE for the verification of your documents, you will then come for physical verification of your original certificate after which the verification, it would be approved and drop to your email, which you can download and print for authentication. But if you don't come for physical verification it would not be approved, except you sort for it to be approved without you coming for physical verification.

Portugal Embassy have Schedule Appointment of students admitted to Higher Education Institutions in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Over 313 compiled Admitted students are in the list. This is the first list subsequent list may follow.

The first list of students admitted to Higher Education Institutions in Portugal for the academic year 2026/2027 is hereby published, under Decree No. 111/2019 of April 12, which includes 313 students within the jurisdiction of the Portuguese Embassy in Abuja.
So some of you guys waiting for appointment should check if their name are on the list and then proceed with getting their documents arranged.

This student scheduling process thus represents Portugal's commitment to international academic training and mobility.

The 313 students whose names and details appear on the list below are hereby summoned to submit their application to the most convenient VFS Global Center (Abuja or Lagos) , between June 22 and July 3, 2026, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Please Note: for the information in the embassy platform form regarding PCC, what i means that you will have to do your PCC (Police Character) authenticate at MOFA then submit it with your application, embassy will then legalize you it for you.
Do not go an print you Police Character and add it in your application without getting it legalize at MOFA (foreign affairs).
