Didn't Nigeria beat bulgaria 3-0 ?
PDPGuy:
Egypt are now the first African side to take a 2-goal lead in a WC match, since Morocco did so against Canada at the 2022 WC…

Congrats to the Egyptians!

They also become the first African side to score 3+ goals in a WC match, since Senegal’s 3-1 win over Qatar at the 2022 World Cup
If we call some of Una kids now na go vex, where do you put Nigeria 3-0 win over a star studded Bulgaria in 94. We even beat a world class Spain team 3-2 in 98. Abeg make Una sabi history pass this o!

our Super eagles of this generation has a lot of catching up to do, their mumunness of failing to qualify back to back has made rest of african teams cover up alot of grounds….like this African teams has raised the bar.
My own is if SA and Ghana can exit in this group stage, i wish all African teams a round 16/Quarterfinals/Semifinal reach…Amen

CIV will likely get to round 16(if they come out second in their group)

DRC may likely exit at Round 32

Morocco may likely reach Q/final or Semis (cos if they top their group or come second they will meet a weak team in the knockout)

Egypt may likely exit at round 16

Capeverde may exit at round 32(they are likely to meet a top team if they come out 3rd, but i also see them as a round 16 candidate)

Algeria just need to win Jordan and draw with Austria and probably exit at round 32

Senegal should just avoid defeat against Norway and try to win Iraq, then i see them reaching round 16 or exiting at Q/final stage

I just dey feel for Iraq because wetin Mbappe and France go do them later today will be akin to Murder.

Before that, Messi and Argentina take on Austria. One thing on Messi's mind will be breaking the WC goals record.

Belgium will be totally annihilated by Nigeria according to your braindead logic since they could not get past an Iran that a 2nd string Nigerian team beat 2-1.
Nope

Football isn't math

Our players lack the winning mentality when it most matters

Fix your superolodo logic first

The world is surprised by cabo Verde performance at WC but those who have watched the past 2 AFCONs are not..

International coaches (outside Africa) don't pay attention to the AFCON and it shows

Had they done that, they would probably not have underrated them

First Spain, and now Uruguay

They deserve to go theough to the next round. They've shown elite mentality which the Super Eagles team of overrated stars (bar osimhen) haven't shown

The emboldened is exactly the point your braindead logic did not remember when you uttered that rubbish earlier about Nigeria being unable to beat CV because of a 2-2 Uruguay result.

So I was only holding up the mirror of your logic for you to see and read for yourself.

How do you expect the ignorant elf in Blueelf/Darkelf modes to know Cape Verde missed the last Afcon when all he does is browse a little surface info (if at all), cram it and come here to rant. grin

He does not do proper research. He will drop messed up info and blame it on his "big" thumbs later when caught. Lol

Mbappe on Hydration breaks

🚨 Kylian Mbappé:

"My thoughts on hydration breaks? Don't ask us players for our opinion, we're very reactionary.
If tomorrow we're dominating at the 25th minute, and there's a hydration break, we'll be angry, because it breaks our rhythm, but if the weather is hot, or we're being dominated, I'll be happy."

That's why people should always respect our golden generation for their achievements, but all some do here is disrespect them at every given chance for seeking national jobs

What Nigeria is supposed to be concerned about in football is going toe to toe against the best of the best like France,Spain, Argentina, Brazil,Germany, etc. That is the path we were headed before.
Not worried about struggling against the likes of Cabe Verde and Curacao,or even the likes of CIV

I respect them a lot but their own too much too sometimes. One of them is part of the reasons why we aren't at the world cup.

Based on facilities, administration, youth setup, talent or what?
