Look at South Africa. A popular xenophobic activist is attacking Nelson Mandela as a sellout because he promoted reconciliation and supposedly spoke for foreigners. Black South Africans are threatening and attacking other Black Africans, yet many of the same people will lecture the world endlessly about racism and white oppression.

Maybe the truth is that many people do not actually hate racism, oppression or domination. They only hate being the victims of it.

Give them power, and they may become worse than the people they spent generations condemning.
