The Netherlands, Japan, and Sweden will make it out of this group.

Scotland will put up a fight, but Brazil will still find a way to nick it. Scotland will have 3 points with negative 1 or 2 goals. I think that will be enough for them; Brazil, Morocco, and Scotland will make it out of this group.

Argentina will beat Jordan. The Austria and Algeria game will decide which team finishes second. Argentina, Austria, and Algeria will make it out of this group.

United States. Australia and Paraguay will make it out of this group.

Cape Varde will either draw or beat Saudi Arabia. Spain will beat Uruguay. Spain and Cape Verde make it out of this group.

Belguim will beat New Zealand. The Egypt and Iran game has "draw" written all over it. Belgium, Egypt, and Iran will make it out of this group.

Portugal will comfortably qualify. Three teams in this group will make it to the round of 32. Portugal, Colombia, and Dr. Congo will make it through.

The Czech Republic will lose against Mexico. South Africa will loose against South Korea. Mexico and South Korea will qualify from this group.

Ecuador is tossed. They will lose against Germany, and Ivory Coast will beat Curacao. Germany and Ivory Coast will make it through.

Bosnia will trash Qatar. Bosnia, Switzerland, and Canada will make it out of this group.

Panama will lose against Croatia and England. Ghana will lose against England and Croatia. Ghana's negative goal difference will determine

if they sneaked in or not. I have Ghana out simply because the Ghana team I saw against Panama was bad, and England will run away with a comfortable 3-0 win, and Croatia will beat them 2-0. They will probably end up being at 3 points with negative 4 or 5 goals. Ghana's only path is that they have to get something out of the Croatia game.

Senegal will beat Iraq. France, Norway, and Senegal make it out of this group.

Summary

The eight third-place teams will be

Sweden

Scotland

Algeria

Paraguay

Iran

Dr. Congo

Bosnia

Senegal
You will definitely review this list after Ghana England game today bet me…!

They are in a very tough group than imagined as France and Norway are not in this competition to make up the numbers. If they were in a easier group I believe they would have scaled through

The opposition you meet in at the group stage matters a lot.
Senegal would have done better in the group that has SA,Egypt and Morocco

You have a point, however, those defensive errors by Kalidou could be capitalised on by even weaker teams tbh
And let's be honest with ourselves, we all expected them to at least nick a point from Norway. Some even had them beating Norway

But this Senegal group sef tough oo…France Kylian Mbappe,Dembele,Olise etc
Norway Haaland,Odegaard and lets say Nigeria is there too…its a tough one…The only small difference may be that we would lost to France, amd maybe drew Norway and beaten Iraq
I feel for Senegal they played good football against France who had to dig in to win that match. As for Norway Haaland should be going thru serious doping test regularly cos which kind mad game that guy Dey play sef 😂.

It’s a tough group jare we just felt Senegal will breeze thru but mhen na zuma rock dem jam

Please do ignore him because doing so will make him not to litter here with more of the word.

Don't mind them.
They are always focused on downplaying Argentina because of Messi and none of them has ever wished Portugal leaving early in this tournament, unlike what they openly pray and hope for towards Argentina.

He has no point please. You keep going back to just one game... The DRC game... as convenient excuse to justify a point that no longer holds.

The same Super Eagles showed heart after that DRC episode at the Afcon tournament. We all saw how far that team went and how Morocco needed big time refereeing favors to navigate that semifinal fixture on their home turf.

The same DRC with their physical size were undone by Algeria. Same Algeria who bested DRC were humbled and dismantled from Minute 1 to Minute 90+ by the Super Eagles in the next KO fixture.

So let us stop the convenient exaggerations. The Super Eagles under Chelle has come a long way now and metamorphosed, so far, into a fearless unit and the metamorphosis is not even finished.

Mujtahida:
Darkelf does have a point even though his abrasive tone tends to overshadow it.

His point that Cape Verde players play with courage is valid. Our players often chicken out.

We didn't lose against DR Congo on footballing terms. We lost because our players were intimidated by the size and sheer physicality of the Congolese.

I was reminded of that seeing the WC training pics of the Congolese today.

Baba go back to trend of post, im not a static or on way trafficating analyst….
You want to come and be reading 100% super eagles defense from me abi?….if you have proof of the contradiction bring them out and stop sparking any yeye narrative about me….If i defend super eagles no mean say i no go still talk true when there is a possible loophole about our team….
If super eagles had gone to this with how we freak out in intense matches, teams like France and Norway will beat us or maybe we getting a draw against Norway…However there are groups in this world cup that we will manage qualify.
The Mexican group, The Egypt group, even the Argentine group(not 100% sure about that one sha), That Morocco group…And most times this depends on the opponents we start with…Lets say for instance the Brazil group and our first match is against Haiti, we will win the game and stand a chance to qualify especially if our next game is against scotland and then later playing Brazil….

That being said there are some group here where super eagles will jah clean clean from group stage..

So i cant come and be doing one way trafficator here becos i want to 100% stand with super eagles…as how na

All is not lost for Senegal. The way the World Cup is going and looking at the group standings and upcoming games, 3 points with a negative one or 2 goal difference will likely get you a spot in the round of 32. The bad news for Senegal is that any of the World Cup contenders that they will likely meet in the round of 32 will send them packing.

Senegal is overtly overrated; I don't really see a world-class player on their team. This is a team of mostly average players and players that have seen thier best days. I was not impressed with them in AFCON. I was not impressed with them in the friendly games I saw them play, and it is no surprise to me how they are struggling.

The average USA team was cutting them up and should have scored 5 or 6 in their friendly game against them. I saw them against a terrible Saudi Arabia team, and Saudi actually had better clear-cut opportunities in that friendly draw.
Kholibaly was at fault for 2 of the goals yesterday, baba is now old, truth be told. Asides that, they have a lot of good interesting talents, perhaps the coach doesn't know how to cook well. I believe a coach like Chelle would do wonders with the current crop of Senegalese players.

But it seems we can't get better, thus we are stuck with them. Moses Simon is even worse

And yes, Cabo Verde may defeat the Supwr Eagles in a competitive match

I HAVE MADE MY POINT. LET HE WHO WANTA TO HAVE HIGH BP HAVE IT

Once someone opinion doesn't agree with yours, automatically it's agenda

There's nobody on this thread who should act as a know all and everyone is entitled to their opinion
.
Someone who thinks everyone must agree with him and he cannot be questionsled. As how?

Is there anybody feeding another person here? When did this place become a military dictatorship.

The biggest disappointment of this World Cup isn't the football. It's the complete absence of a suspiciously accurate animal predictor. What happened to all those mysterious cats and goats and snakes that used to pop up out of nowhere during international competitions?

We have all this advanced tracking tech and match simulators, yet nobody has thought to consult any prophetic goat so far. Abi na only AFCON dey use am?

But I recall an animal being used at the last WC in Qatar. How am I supposed to make accurate bets this year?

I'm slightly disappointed to be honest.
