The average Nigerian is a coward - including me. We keep Waiting for one or two people out of a suffering population of more than 200million people to be the one that will risk their freedom to demand for good government.

..the rest of us hide behind keyboards and hide inside crowds to speak.

Your people didn't leave Lagos during and after his stewardship in Lagos State. Rather you kept coming in droves.

So calm down. The surgery on Nigeria is still ongoing.

Every major historical shift started with a single household, a single community, or a single voice while cynics like you sat on the sidelines mocking them. If the concept of starting small is 'shallow' to you, it’s only because you lack the depth to see how real movements are built. Change has to start somewhere—I’m sorry your imagination stops at your front door.

in your bid to attack him, you fail to understand that he called himself a coward as well.

I agree with you on that my good Sir. And it's a shame, that we know the problem. I guess we're too selfish to be united under a shared vision.

That's why these politicians always seek out the leaders in anything that looks like a united front, then try to buy or bully them into disarray.

Even the people that would benefit from a better Nigeria will rather want to be an elevated thuurg than fight for common good.
The problem is that politicians knowing we are a multicultural and multi religious nation has perfected the art of weaponising religion and ethnicity against us.

If a politician is caught stealing from us, he would turn it to a tribal or religious thing and you would find out he has teeming supporters. From OUK, emefile, malami, el rufai, it's the same approach. Even bilord, who is not a politician, played that card and had supporters of that view.

In a sane country all these occurrences would have sparked public outrage. Nigerians keep waiting for the Messiah who will bell the cat and when the hero falls in battle, they bury their heads in the sand like cowardly ostriches.

You hear prayers for God to save the country but they forget that even Israelites that are the core owners of their borrowed religion deal with their problems head on before leaving the rest to God. If Netanyahu had waited on God, they would have been wiped out of existence eons ago.

Tribalism is an excuse for masking our inability to demand for what is rightfully ours, just because it is inconvenient to demand for our rights from the oppressor.

A multi-ethnic nation is not a curse.

The real problem is the ethnic and religious division in nigeria which evil nigerian politicians take advantage of to win elections and also retain power for themselves any day the nigerian masses unite and become more civilised and enlightened to forget about their ethnic and religious differences it will all be game over for the corrupt ruling elites.

No nau Boss. Maybe the generation before us also thought like that. That we will be the generation of no-nonsense. But now we're offloading the responsibility again to the next.

The Gen Z are more individualistic - they don't really care if the country goes to shyte, the smart ones are leaving or earning outside the mess that's the Nigerian economy.
