The day you children will use your God-given brains to type a response, heaven will surely fall.

AngelSlay:
I understand the frustration, and unfortunately, many job seekers can relate to this experience. 💔

Applying to hundreds of jobs, tailoring CVs, writing cover letters, and getting little or no response can be mentally exhausting. The silence often feels worse than a rejection because you're left wondering what happened.

That said, not every job posting is fake or already filled. Sometimes recruiters receive thousands of applications within hours, and many qualified candidates never get a response simply because of the volume.

The reality is that job boards alone are rarely enough in today's market. Networking, referrals, direct outreach, personal branding, internships, volunteering, and building relevant skills have become just as important as submitting applications.

To everyone currently job hunting: please don't tie your worth to the number of rejections or unanswered applications. A delayed opportunity is not a reflection of your value.

And if you're feeling overwhelmed, please talk to someone. No job is worth your life. ❤️

Let's keep supporting one another and sharing opportunities, strategies, and success stories. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think. 🙏🏽

Serious person looking for job should know some official career page of some companies. That gives legit job. For example always checks official career website of flour mills of Nigeria. They always have vacancies.

This not true.

Most times it's for audit purpose.

After applying to 500 Jobs from job boards and communities for 3 months straight with only 18 emails been opened. You followed up and no pim after that.

I have come to the realization that Job board application’s isn’t worth it. After starting glued and sticking like a watch job to submit a job 20-30 mins after being posted and getting ghosted.

I have seen someone commit sucide because she was not able to get a job and have been asked to pack out from where she was leaving. This job hunting game is survival now 😂.

Why post a job if you have given it out already?

To fulfill all righteousness...it is mandated in public service that all openings should be advertised

I saw a job advert in the newspaper,Daily Times.I approached a friend of mine who belonged to the institution. He made the same observation, posts already filled, just for formality sake.
I said there is no harm in trying.I got the job and I worked there for over 2 years before moving on.

It's just for self development, to be sure he is still in tune with market demands.
You know you might be complacent with a company probably because of pay, position or perks and not know that you don't have relevant skills again, when you attend interviews, the recruiter is likely to open your eyes more to things currently trending from the questions asked
Thank you for the response. I really appreciate

In the uk, companies do this also. They post adverts with no job then they save the best cv.. they call you back when there's opportunities.. Av experienced it severally but unfortunately for them av moved on

So sorry bro, you're not the only one in all this, we are searching and hoping for things to turn around for good. That's why we must all fight this evil government next year, because what's the essence of life with undue suffering and constant disrespect.?

As for your wife, let things turn around for you and you start paying her in her coin, she would claim victim with the popular "I was with him when he had nothing.." chant. And some people who don't know what you're passing through now in her hands (mental abuse) would now come up with their unsolicited opinions against you...
Don't blame the wife. Poverty is not easy and women are not creates to the the head of the house financially.

Internship: A short-term work experience designed to help you learn a profession or industry. It may be paid or unpaid and is mainly for career development.

Volunteering: Unpaid work done to support a cause or organization. Its main purpose is to serve the community while gaining experience and skills.

In one sentence: Internships help you build a career; volunteering helps you make an impact while gaining experience.
