Not that I can't take it now o, but the truth is I last took anything injection some 35yrs ago.
When I was 10, since then I don't fall sick or have anything to do with hospital.
Oh oh, I just rmbr. 12yrs ago a nurse I once dated injected me to get my blood and know if I have HIV or any other sickness 😀😀😀😀.
Not that I'm afraid of it, I am just not use to it.

At 45 it still beat my imagination that I get freak out by anything crawling especially snakes.
This morning while coming out from my apartment, I saw this snake crawling inside my compound while being escorted by a bird (funny scenario), I guess it came from the bush opposite my house and crawl thru under my gate.
Immediately I saw it, instead of me killing it I got freak out.
.
I quickly took some steps away and hurriedly went to call one of the two guys working in our hotel which is just the next house.
One of the guy said I shouldn't call him in matters of snake (my likeness)
It was the youngest guy who I am 22 yrs older than that came to kill the snake.
Even after he killed it, when snapping it with my phone, I was scared as if the snake will suddenly come back alive and hurt me.
After that, I took a stick and picked it to go throw away. Still I was afraid.

This is me that's not afraid to enter any bush or forest whether day or night.
This is me that's not afraid to enter any dangerous area or neighborhood.
This is me that's not scared of anything be it ghost, armed robbers, cultist e.t.c but snakes no matter how small it's as been my only phobia.
So guys! I'm asking, is there a way I can stop myself from being afraid of snakes? Or is it too late cus I'm too old?

Even if you are 100 or you should fear snakes especially if you are not an expert who is capable of identifying venom snakes from non venom ones etc.
How you mentioned a bird escorting the snake lol! That bird must actually wanted to eat the snake! You were obstructing the bird’s breakfast

Try to kill one someday and u would have killed d phobia as well.

I use to fear snake as well as Dogs too.
But d day I kill3d snake marked d last day. And one day again I was pursued in d dream by a dog and I stopped and killed d dog.
Since that day dogs do run away from me too.

My own is lion. At 69 I’m still scared of lions.

hahaha...it's normal to have phobia for something o, me na huge water....and you're not alone, my dad's friend wey dey hin late 60's dey drive and snake cross road, instead of driving on it...baba raised both legs up inside car almost lost control of the car😵‍💫😵‍💫, his wife dey use am troll am everytime 😂😂

I don’t mind being around snake, but you see those Agama lizard ehn, I go run leave house for you if the thing enter my house o and d thing come dey shame me sef.

Watching Nat Geo wild has made me able to identify venomous and non-venomous snakes.

I also have phobia for snakes but I do everything possible to kill it whenever they cross my path.......The last snake I killed in my compound was a cobra. If I wasn't courageous that day it would have escaped and that would have made me more worried.
