Yes for good 35yrs I never gone for any treatment, believe it or not.
The reason for the nurse's own was that we wanted to collabo if you know what I mean.
And she wanted to be sure I am clean before entering her heavenly gate.
.
I didn't demand for any test, it was she that wanted to be sure. And that's the first and only time I have done anything test.
If it might interest you, I don't know my blood group. Wether I am AA, AS, SS I don't know. But I am very sure I am not SS cus I'm not a sickler and none of my three kids are.

Reptiles are naturally scary. If they tell you to stay in a room with a snake or with a crocodile, you may find yourself selecting the snake.
Ah! What type of a selection of between the devil and deep blue sea is this nah, lolz!

at 32, I have this phobia for rats, when they manage to enter inside my apartment.

I can kill them o. If in an empty or open space, no problem.

But somehow, someway, I find myself afraid of them jumping on my body.....and am a man.

Incidentally, i have absolute hatred for zero fear for snakes.

My biggest phobia is heights. I also fainted the last times I had to climb a pedestal bridge. I get anxiety when climbing ladders.

The point is that, we all have one unique fear of/for something. It doesn't make us less of a man, less of a woman or less human in anyway.

Its life.
Hmmm.... Me too, for that rat. I try and chase them away from the room. Their appearance sef scare the hell out of me.

Good day and happy Sunday to you all.
At 45 it still beat my imagination that I get freak out by anything crawling especially snakes.
This morning while coming out from my apartment, I saw this snake crawling inside my compound while being escorted by a bird (funny scenario), I guess it came from the bush opposite my house and crawl thru under my gate.
Immediately I saw it, instead of me killing it I got freak out.
.
I quickly took some steps away and hurriedly went to call one of the two guys working in our hotel which is just the next house.
One of the guy said I shouldn't call him in matters of snake (my likeness)
It was the youngest guy who I am 22 yrs older than that came to kill the snake.
Even after he killed it, when snapping it with my phone, I was scared as if the snake will suddenly come back alive and hurt me.
After that, I took a stick and picked it to go throw away. Still I was afraid.
.
This is me that's not afraid to enter any bush or forest whether day or night.
This is me that's not afraid to enter any dangerous area or neighborhood.
This is me that's not scared of anything be it ghost, armed robbers, cultist e.t.c but snakes no matter how small it's as been my only phobia.
So guys! I'm asking, is there a way I can stop myself from being afraid of snakes? Or is it too late cus I'm too old?
Oga nobody or man that is not afraid of snake

We're almost the same but in my case the size is what decides my kill or flight reaction, once the snake is as big as my fist or long as 1mtr my legs be touching the back of my head running away, i guess my own was born from the day i was chased by a very long black Cobra, I'm lucky to be alive today and that has been the most terrifying moment of my life ever since i was born... I hope i get over that phobia soon, it could one day be a case of me saving my loved one from it and my bravery will be all i need that day.
Hmmmm. You really were chased by a snake?
That must be traumatic for you.

Watching Nat Geo wild has made me able to identify venomous and non-venomous snakes.

I also have phobia for snakes but I do everything possible to kill it whenever they cross my path.......The last snake I killed in my compound was a cobra. If I wasn't courageous that day it would have escaped and that would have made me more worried.
How did you kill it? Would you mind describing the experience?

It was quite scary.

My neighbour's son raised an alarm that afternoon shouting that a snake had just entered the compound through the hole beneath our gate.

I came out of my flat and saw it moving across the compound, it wasn't moving very fast because the ground is German floored. There was nothing nearby to strike it at that moment so I instructed the boy to stay calm, keep a safe distance and keep an eye on the snake.

I rushed outside to get some stones, but by the time I returned, the snake was nowhere to be seen. I asked the boy where it had gone and he pointed to my dish pole leaning against the fence. I was surprised because I couldn't see anything there. It wasn't as if the fence pillar had a hole in it.

The boy kept insisting that the snake was hiding behind the pole. I threw a few stones at the spot hoping it would come out, but there was no sign of it. It was as if the snake had vanished because I used few seconds to get the stones.

Luckily, my wife was boiling water in the kitchen, so I asked her to pour some into a bowl and bring it to me. I poured the hot water around the base of the pole, and the creepy creature suddenly sprang out.

It seemed to be both preparing for a fight and trying to escape at the same time.
That was when I realised it was a cobra because it spread its hood in that trademark cobra style.

The first stone I threw broke its spine, and I finished it off with more stones.

What's the different between it been venomous and lethal?
its venom will cause pain and swelling but won't kill an adult human being.

Wow. Thanks for sharing this. It was a very interesting piece to read. This means the hot water helped you before it started dancing like a snake. Now that you think of it, have you had any ideas that next time you see a snake what would you do? cheesy eg cobras are venomous, were you thinking about it that you could have been injured or something like that when we start thinking about what we just did

BTW let me share this episode with you, it was very educational. It was quite revealing to me to learn Nigeria has a lot of snake bites and antivenom experts but our government is an unserious one. The oyinbo will not invest in what doesn't bring money for them👇

Please reword this. I don't want to assume what you wrote because snakes like warmth from my little understanding, so you were even making the situation worse unknowingly grin
