Reminds me of one woman who poured pepper on her son's body when we were kids. Her reason was that the boy was too stubborn. The boy ran to my mom of blessed memory and it was my mom who shielded and treated him. It was when the woman came for her child,that was when my mom taught her the lessons of her life as the wife of a retired soldier she was .

The truth is that some women no suppose get womb let alone to have children .

Growing up, a woman poured hot water on her daughter's private part because of her promiscuous behaviour.

We also had a neighbour who would use stick used for turning fufu to pound her very stubborn daughter like a thief. Afterwards , she would put pepper in her eyes and private parts, then lock her up.

Despite all the pummeling the girl received, she grew worse, got pregnant and later died after an abortion went wrong.

I know stubborn children can drive parents insane, but instead of meting out harsh punishment on them, just hand them over to juvenile homes. Their brain will reset afterwards.

these days are social media days or period. My mother did same to me when i was 10 in 1991. infact after serious beating with thick bitter leaf stick, wey sll my body come swell, she used it to bath me from head down. before doing this, she naked me.all my body , including my eyes, ipepper me for. a wekk, my pee hole, inside of it was hell for almost 2 weeks, as water entered inside. na fire i dey piss.The deep hatred i have for her now am a grown man with 2 kids is still there and she knows i remember it till date. The reason i hardly communicate to her and she isn't part of my plans and she isn't informed by me on my success in all i do..our mothers did worse during analogue period

no. but when i was 19, then in 100 level, i reminded her of it. her belle no sweet throughout that period. she was sober, but i no lie and tell am the reality straight without emotions. for almost a week, all eyes, body pepper me, even the pee channel was on fire inside, as pepper water enter. my mother, if she dies today, i WONT feel it

I understand how you feel, and can't judge you because I'm not in your shoes. Parents really need to do better when instilling discipline in children. There are some pains that never go away, and yours is one of them.
