For 2 consecutive World Cups, Qatar 🇶🇦 has been one of the worst teams I have ever seen in World Cup history.

Yet, they have won the past 2 Asian Cups… I am starting to question the integrity of that tournament.
How is it possible?!
Italy won 2020 Euro cup and failed to qualify for 2022 WC,does it means Euro cup lack integrity.

Damn... if anyone is foolish enough to put 1million on SA not advancing, then wow... good luck to that foolishness. 🤣🤣🤣

Betting should never done with sentiments. Never.

With that said...
Anyone hatewatching my Maroc dey try. They are brave comrades. Just accept wetin u see. Lol

As for hatewatching SA, a new battleline is drawn.... Canada will do the Lord's work.😁😁🤝🏿🤝🏿 (I hope😂)
anyway they have really tried. I doubt they will win Canada
But I have to give it to Hugo broos for his tactical master class. I still believe if not for his defensive setup against mexico, south africa would have won or drawn that game. Quite painful for Nigeria. Imagine being in this group and meeting canada

Stacked squad. Should be able to snag enough medals at the Commonwealth Games.

TheSuperNerd:
Not football related, but this is Nigeria's squad invited ahead of the Commonwealth games.

Some world beater names on the list.

Mexico has shown that they have capacity tho. They won all their matches unlike SA who drew Czech and won korea by a lone goal. I believe a more offensive set up for SA in that match would have opened them up to more goals conceded. SA scored 2 goals against Czech and Korea, Mexico scored 4.

I'm seeing Senegalese fans on Twitter talking about dropping Pape Thiaw and stealing Eric Chelle.

It won't happen anyway, but it's the audacity for me cos they're debating it with all seriousness.

All these African countries don really see us finish.

Uncomfortable Facts….South Africa has an easy path to quarter finals than Morocco 🇲🇦

They can easily defeat Canada 🇨🇦 and possibly meet Morocco 🇲🇦 in r16 …in which they can also defeat Morocco 🇲🇦 too 😊😊.its going to be a long ride for hate watchers

How has Messi never faced Brazil, Spain, England, and Italy even once in 6 World Cups? FIFA favorite 😆

TIRED OF THE WORLD CUP ALREADY
Why? Ah. Never tire o! Una never see anything. We are eating the fruits of our labour -- or lack of labour -- whatever you wish to call it. As far as this World Cup is concerned, everybody must feel the pain, because we're too unserious. All of us. From the NFF, to the players to even the fans. Look at South Africa and Ghana making us look like a bunch of unserious clowns on the global stage. We thought the qualifiers was going to be a breeze and didn't even bother to do the bare minimum. Imagine prosecuting the earlier and most important stages of our qualifiers with people like Uzoho and Sodiq and Tianimu. Then it took us centuries to get a proper coach for the qualifiers and by the time we got a coach, it was already over. It was a miracle we even qualified for the playoffs cause we didn't deserve that either. The so-called playoffs went to shit anyways no thanks to the unseriousness of the NFF and the players. And foolish fans were here patting players on the back over a misfired boycott that practically sealed our fate against DRC. It was one fatal misstep after one fatal misstep all the way to the finish line. I'm happy I'm not the only one feeling the pain. Everybody must cry.

Kudos to the NSC for the Chelle move, but if they really want to show me that they're serious and have repented from their criminal ways, they must start working seriously to get rid of Gusau and Sanusi. They must also seek out a competent technical director. Eguavoen cannot be the everlasting technical director for the Super Eagles.

To be fair your query has substance. Messi has faced only three (France, Germany, Netherlands) big opposition in 7 times WCs. Winning 3 (all penalties) losing 4.

Y
caprikon:
This expanded world cup may be the best African outing based on qualification to the knockout phase.

It will be interesting to see how the teams fare in the second round.

Morocco look the most likely to advance to the QF.
This should be Africa's best outing at a world cup which justifies the number of slots.

Senegal has suffered from missteps and misfortune.

Quite shameful for Nigeria. No world cup appearance in 2020s and no guarantees that the next decade will be better.

The NSC is in charge of Chelle's contract remunerations even though it is drafted through/via the NFF.

This is what Acceptance and True Leadership looks like.... Neymar may be Brazil's #10 but we know who their Main Star at this World Cup is.

And Vini not letting it get to his head... ✅️

Everything you said here is top 👍
I never for once think in an extended world cup with Africa having 10 slot and Nigeria will not qualified.
I'm pained,
I'm heartbroken.

All our bragging rights, records are getting broken.😭
Here I am wishing all the other participating African team should not do well (I no dey hide my bad belleism)
