Once your mum isn't in that house and your dad's wife( not your mum) is greedy you lose out. Best if he had been giving them his wealth while still alive on his death bed

Mr. Ibu had more than enough time to write a will but didn't.
I know he played foolish roles in movies but he shouldn't have been that on issues like this.

The best thing in life is to take your time find just one woman to marry. Anything second wife forget is an issues in waiting.

They are like vice chairman waiting for the tenue of the chairman to expire and take-over. Hence it's better to do all you can and remain with one wife.

This woman is an exceedingly evil woman! Mr. Ibu bought 3 cars in one day and gave this woman. She was a major reason why he ended up in the hospital bed because he suspected that she poisoned him. He had to stop eating her food. He called her the worst wife he ever had.
She was only after his money and abandoned him on the hospital bed. She never cared about him but his wealth which she has squandered from the looks of it.

See the link to the interview Mr. Ibu gave regarding this evil woman.

What exactly informed Stella making that video?

Meanwhile, John Okafor (Mr Ibu) was a decent and honourable man while he was alive. There are Youtube videos of Mr Ibu's properties. He had powerful machines and buildings. One of his cars was valued at 18 million naira!

That said, I would also Mr Ibu's older sons to stop dragging their father's widow. Before Ibu died, she fought the woman taking care of Ibu. They should respect Ibu's memory and stop discussing his family affairs in public. They can also arrange to look after their younger siblings. They carry their father's blood.

Mr Ibu's widow should also stop discussing things in public. If there are issues, approach the inlaws and they would mediate.

Concerning wealth, please when you have money, do not over-indulge. Illness can be the line between wealth and poverty. Live frugally when you have money and save. Instead of selling assets for 50 million naira without a plan for the money, have the asset to yield steady income. Money looks big until you start spending it.
“Money looks big until you start spending it. ’’

You know the drill.
There's no amount of money that cannot be squandered. 20m,50m na mouth them take big, once 1m commot, money don finish.

This is why I believe, money management is far harder than making money.
Making money is just the beginning of the journey, the most important thing is knowing how to keep, and also multiply said money and make it work for you.

Most Nigerians don't like preparing a will. I don't know why.
Even the educated and exposed refuse to plan one. Maybe they think they'll live forever.

If you want a peaceful life for your children after your death, never leave anything behind in terms of materials properties. It is always a curse among the children even if it is only one wife you have.

Just train them to be independent and help stabilize them in their different fields...

Don't just send them to school alone. School certificates are just for the sake of having them no matter the level.! (bitter truth)

Let them use their hands and brains productively!
Nonsense talk. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children. What are you on? What sort of wickedness mentality is this?

The problem with Nigeria patriarchy will always shows it's ugly head due to lack of communication and collective goals within the family.

My own two cents will be for people who are in the system already.

While you are able, set up a family legacy office system where if possible not the children but wealth management individuals can help safe guard your principals. I.e your investments, properties, non concession power of attorney, but rather with votes and who has those votes.

Most inherited assets gets squandered. Even ones without complications has a tendency of facing the same doom.

Set up your principals in systems that will enable your family and offsprings to draw from the income the principal generates and they focusing on their own careers. If you leave it open. Issues like this will always come into the light.

Just a piece of advice.

If Abiola family, Dangote of his era can go under, it is not a matter of is this happening, it is simply a matter of eventuality.

Even if you have a single family.. make your children understand from the day they started knowing how much you are worth that the wealth is not theirs but for your grandchildren. You can support them and make sure they do not let their own grandchildren also be a curse to the wealth. But growing it. You work for your grandchildren, your children work for their grandchildren and your children make your grandchildren understand the wealth is for their grandchildren as well and not entirely theirs.
That's how legacy and dynasty survives.

In all you do as a man, no marry rubbish: that is, a shameless, unaccountable woman.

And if possible, let all your children be traceable to one and only one woman.

Okafor Somtochukwu, Mr IBU's son accuses the late comedian's wife of claiming all family properties for herself and her children, including selling a Lagos house for 60 million naira without consulting other siblings from previous relationships.

He Said That She Sold One Of Mr Ibu’s Houses In Lagos For N60 Million, Another Property In Lagos For Over N17 Million, And Also Sold The One In Asaba For N11 Million. He Further Claimed That Over N66 Million Contributed For Their Father During His Illness, She Squandered The Money Alone.

Is this necessary - bringing family matters to social media ?

Meanwhile, it seems he’s reading from a script

Why was Mr Ibu begging for money when he had those things?
He could have sold one of the houses to treat himself.
