🚨🗣 José Mourinho: “What am I looking forward to in the World Cup?

I want Real Madrid players to LOSE because I want them back for pre-season.”

[BeastModeOn]
He wants Portugal to win as no Portuguese on his team.

Why? Ah. Never tire o! Una never see anything. We are eating the fruits of our labour -- or lack of labour -- whatever you wish to call it. As far as this World Cup is concerned, everybody must feel the pain, because we're too unserious. All of us. From the NFF, to the players to even the fans. Look at South Africa and Ghana making us look like a bunch of unserious clowns on the global stage. We thought the qualifiers was going to be a breeze and didn't even bother to do the bare minimum. Imagine prosecuting the earlier and most important stages of our qualifiers with people like Uzoho and Sodiq and Tianimu. Then it took us centuries to get a proper coach for the qualifiers and by the time we got a coach, it was already over. It was a miracle we even qualified for the playoffs cause we didn't deserve that either. The so-called playoffs went to shit anyways no thanks to the unseriousness of the NFF and the players. And foolish fans were here patting players on the back over a misfired boycott that practically sealed our fate against DRC. It was one fatal misstep after one fatal misstep all the way to the finish line. I'm happy I'm not the only one feeling the pain. Everybody must cry.

Kudos to the NSC for the Chelle move, but if they really want to show me that they're serious and have repented from their criminal ways, they must start working seriously to get rid of Gusau and Sanusi. They must also seek out a competent technical director. Eguavoen cannot be the everlasting technical director for the Super Eagles.
You're very right

I cannot disagree with anything you said 100%

You're very right.

However, someone wants us to see the players as beyond reproach

While the NFF carries the majority of the blame, we cannot excuse the poor performances of the players

From thwir play on the pitch to the lack of urgency with which they prosecuted the matches, their unseriousness was evidence

The choice of clueless coaches and an even dumber technical director in the person of Eguaveon

I saw finidi lamenting that the I-23 job and senior team job will be too much for Chelle. It is because such indigenous coaches would not have access to egunje.

Imagine calling tianimu to man the central defence. This nonsense and many other questionable invites contributed to our horrendous performances

Seems Fae doesn't know his 1st team, the guy keeps switching his starting 11. Wishing them all the very best. They are a very balanced team but am not fully convinced the coach knows what he is doing

Sha pray South Africa no win Canada. Cos if they do, it won't even matter if they lose in the Round of 16 cos they will already have something we don't: a win in the knockout stages of the World Cup.

Hey thanks again, NFF.

At just 17 years and 253 days old, Gilberto Mora became the youngest player to start a men's FIFA World Cup match for Mexico.

He is the sixth youngest starter in FIFA World Cup history.

Femi Opabunmi of Nigeria (Golden Eaglets Class of 2001) stays 2nd youngest in history.

It is the same as what Ouahbi did with Morocco vs Haiti. Curacao is a weaker opposition so Fae is giving lads like Ousmane Diomande and Chris Operi a run out today from the start while Guela Doue returns at RB.

Ecuador had not scored a single goal at this WC before today. Now with Elimination staring them in the face, they hit 2 against Germany (who have qualified anyway).

Round of 32 ticket is theirs if things stay this way.

FT Ecuador 2-1 Germany

FT Curacao 0-2 CIV

CIV finishes 2nd and will face either Norway or France.

I prefer Norway to France for CIV but they get who they get. Not sure if Singo is fit to play the next game I personally prefer him to Doue as RB. I think a front three of Pepe, Amad and Diomande should work for them in my opinion. Senegal should go and pack their boxers and singlet, time to go home.

CIV could have beaten Germany, Ecuador proved it today.

The gap is closing with Europe

France would have to finish 2nd for that to happen. And that means losing to Norway. Do you see France losing to the Norwegians?

I don’t like the idea of a female referee officiating men match. She did well though, it just doesn’t sit well with me.

If the female official in question has completed all the requisite FIFA courses and is truly qualified for the role, what is the issue?
