9JAMac10:As referee isn't a competitor. They don't participate in the contest in the way the players do. Their role is to apply the Laws of the Game impartially. Gender therefore isn't advantageous or disadvantageous and frankly irrelevant. What matters is competence, fitness, consistency, and impartiality. |

According to him and his father, he won't play for Nigeria due to insecurity in the country lol. But see him playing somewhere in Owerri yesterday. So, the insecurity that couldn't find him during this street football match will automatically find him during bational team assignment abi?

Tunisia 1-3 Netherlands Japan 1-1 Sweden As things stand... Japan will meet Brazil while Netherlands will battle Morocco. Sweden also put themselves in good 3rd place position for now |

First time in WC history that 3 or more African teams are advancing to the knock rounds 👏💪🏽 |

FT Japan 1-1 Sweden FT Tunisia 1-3 Netherlands It is decided. Tunisia, 3 games, 3 losses... conceeded 5+4+3 = 12 goals for a GD of -10. Big contrast to how their Qualifying went where they did not even concede a goal (They went 22-0 in WCQs). Round of 32 action will see My Maroc vs My Oranje Gang. Japan will take on My Brazil. Sweden will surely make the Round of 32 among the best 8 3rd placed teams. That Economist's prediction comes to mind, strongly TheSuperNerd: |

Can you imagine?😳🤦♀️ 🚨 EXCLUSIVE @VeneziaFC_IT Venezia has reached an agreement with Akor Adams for the signing. The parties are aligned on the contractual terms and in the coming days new contacts are expected with Siviglia to try to close the deal definitively. 👀 We await developments regarding this attacking coup 🤝@Federico_catoni #Calciomercato |

Pisa, what's the future for Durosinmi? Three foreign clubs are interested, but they're looking at €18 million *Trabzonspor, West Ham, and Benfica are interested in the Nigerian striker. Relegation to Serie B has triggered a release clause. Three teams, all foreign, are said to be eyeing Pisa striker Rafiu Durosinmi , who arrived last January and scored just one goal in 12 appearances. According to African press reports, Trabzonspor, West Ham, and Benfica are reportedly ready to knock on the Tuscan club's door for the Nigerian. As revealed by Sestaporta.news, Pisa is confident they can negotiate from a position of strength despite their relegation to Serie B and therefore won't be forced to sell the 2003-born centre-forward. The starting fee, although the club could later decide to accept a lower offer, is in fact set by a release clause of €18 million. A clause that was activated after Pisa's relegation to Serie B and would allow the Nigerian player, tied to the Nerazzurri until 2030, to leave the club upon payment of these €18 million. This would represent a significant amount of money that could be reinvested in the transfer market to try to build a team capable of regaining promotion to the top flight. Source: TuttoMercatoWeb

Likely, only Tunisia will be eliminated among the 10 African representatives after the group stage. Senegal still has a chance to progress if they can win Iraq convincingly. |

Team USA's second string defenders ain't it. That should worrying when trying to go deep in this competition. Depth plays a much bigger role in a longer, expanded tournament |

Only thoughts are that when you rotate like Pochettino did you can expect some type of defensive lapses. Still the center-backs out there continue to show us why Ream is still starting. Another thing is the fact that Turkey is out is insane. They have a ton of quality. |

So far Netherlands are frightening How they slammed 5 past Sweden is incredible though Portugal better improve if they want to win the trophy It’s being 60 years since England won, could it come home this year after losing 2 euro finals Im rooting for a new team to win, not the regular 8 powerhouses, we are tired of them Portugal , England or Netherlands in that order |
