charlesemeka85:But our guys effed up. Easy qualifying group oo. They just bungled everything. Imagine the overwhelming support Nigerians in the US would have given our boys. The pain is painful |

9JAMac10:People keep shouting that we are in a patriarchy. Na lie. The patriarchy has been dismantled. The matriarchy is in charge now. People don't know because they see men heading organisations. But the men are acting out of a feminine frame. Gradually even these men will be phased out and women will run everything. Brave New World |

Breaking: Haaland does NOT START today. MBAPPE STARTS. The Classic we all were expecting wont happen the way we expected. Norway seems to concede they will be second in the group anyway but Mbappe chases WC Goals History and another Golden Boot.

Kog45:That’s why I will never join those blaming osihmen on his decision to go to turkey. Football is just a short span career! Once you stopped playing either due to injury or retirement omo you’re on your own. Our players especially those who are not foreign born are already at a disadvantage once their careers end cos there is no social safety net in Nigeria to fall back to unlike their foreign born counterparts who can fall back to the social safety net of their adopted European countries. This is also why many of our players especially the ones who are not foreign born also chose to remain in a particular country till they become citizens even if it’s to play in lower divisions and solidify their residency so they can also enjoy all the social benefits of their adopted country. So when I see players make certain decisions about their careers I understand why! |

Goke7:Small correction, Osimhen didn't go to Turkey for money, he went there to save his career. Remember Napoli had frozen him out of the team. That aside, I agree with you sir. |

Good point on the Citizenship talk. I recently read of a Naija player who refused to renew his contract at a club just outside Finland coz he is chasing Finnish Citizenship (he is married to a Finnish Lady). So now he seeks a club in Finland. Goke7: |

Goke7:True but after he said no, Napoli were just going to freeze him out, he had no options again. It was common knowledge that he had been frozen out, so most negotiators would try to milk the situation to their advantage as they thought he had no choice which he didn't seem to have then. But Osimhen coconut head and Baba God created a way. |

Kog45:Abegi, make we hear word. We keep using this emotional poverty argument to excuse players making ridiculous transfer moves to obscure clubs. Even worse, you've woefully misapplied that argument here. Nobody is disputing that players deserve financial security, the criticism is about WHICH financial decision. Venezia is a freshly-promoted Serie A side, which means genuine relegation risk unless they perform well above expectation, which is not always the case for newly relegated teams. Newly promoted teams 7-8 times out of 10 get relegated back to where they came from. Long term, it's not a viable choice. Moving to bigger clubs means moving to the bigger stage, which in turn means bigger future contracts, bigger sponsorships, bigger leverage. So choosing short-term wages at a smaller club over long-term market value growth is itself a poor financial decision. Feel free to have sympathy for a player's background, but please let's stop trying to make questionable career calculations suddenly look wise. |

Please if you’re close to super eagles players or other Nigerian players you know especially those originally born in Nigeria advise them especially if they had huge numbers in terms of money to buy citizenship or residency in countries that offer it. For example from 800,000 dollars you can get a US green card by investment and there are some countries especially in the Caribbean that also give citizenship by investment that can make them have access to many countries visa free and other immigration pathways. No be only to Dey buy cars and properties and vibing in night clubs here and there. The huge money they are making now should be used to also solidify their tomorrow to ensure their social security. |

We watching France vs Norway or Senegal vs Iraq? That Norway XI has completely ruined the vibes. Rather watch Senegal to see if they can salvage their position in this World Cup. |

Senegal XI: Diaw, Diatta, Seck, Niakhate, Jakobs, Gueye, Diarra, Camara, Mbaye, Sarr, Mane. 🇮🇶 Iraq XI: Basil, Putros, Sulaka, Hashem, Doski, Al-Ammari, Qasem, Iqbal, Bayesh, Jasim, Al-Hamadi. |

What exactly does Mamadou Sarr and Illman Ndiaye need to do to get a start for Senegal? At Mane’s age, he should be striking for Senegal, he’s got amazing movement in the box and is clinical, good in the air too, he doesn’t need to be tracking back now. Senegal to win 4-2 Iraq. Cheering for the African side in this precarious situation. |
