I'm tired of reading that Nigerians are bad people.

Are you minding such a crook. Only people that don't know what applying for UK visa means will fall for this bullshit story. Imagine how long he was already in the UK before trying to bring his legitimate wife then he forgot that he actually entered the UK claiming to have a ghost wife. Who no waka no fit ever know how far. The funny thing is that the British are well to smart to detect a foolish lie and so they will definitely give a clean judgment without error.
I can only wish him a good stay in detention at the moment and a safe flight back home on deportation.
Some Nigerians are terrible, I can never forget one of my trips from UK to Nigeria on holiday. There were some deportees in the plane that day. You need to see how they were chained and carried into the plane like Christmas goats. I was in disbelief but then I saw why they were treated like that because they were insulting the officers and promising to ensure the plane doesn't get to Nigeria. Myself and other people were scared and decided we were not comfortable flying in same plane anymore until the officers made us understand that they deal with such cases on a regular basis and so we should be calm because once the plane takes off and it's gets to about 2-3 hours out of the 6 hours flight, they will all become sober because then it will dawn on them that they are already heading back home and there is nothing they can do. Honestly speaking, just as the officers said, that's exactly what happened and that was the time (about half way the flight) they removed them from chains and they were all very sober till we landed Nigeria in peace.

As I was reading, even as I never travel out before , I knew the best bet was to first deal with that fake marriage thing by arranging divorce papers.
Look for the fake wife, have a discussion with her. Explain the situation, let her see this is the best step for both of you, as you will be able to bring your legal wife and she will be able to bring her own legal husband.
Seek her cooperation in the process.

In life Some things require wisdom and not show of strength or force.

He made the matter worse with his response to the home office.

Now he has a case of marriage fraud to answer with the home office.

The fake wife wouldn't be able to bring any husnand as she is dependant to the visa holder (the man) a dependant cannot bring anyone into the UK.

What he should have done is divorce the fake wife with or without her knowledge.


It is quite possible that he didn't know that the agent attached a "wife" to his visa.

But who says she must remain a dependant?

If she has values to offer and ambitious, she can get a job with visa sponsorship in which case she will change her status.

That's the point me I was talking about.
At that point she can bring anybody including her legal husband if she has one.
But then, the "divorce" with the fake husband must have been consumated.

I know someone who did exactly this.

But the caveat is, she must be ambitious and has values to offer. Otherwise who wants to give visa sponsorship to a liability and a total block head who is just satisfied with the hype of:
I am now living in the abroad.
I now live in YOUKAY.

Someone who is satisfied with creating illusion of a sweet beautiful life abroad, constantly changing her status and profile picture to pepper dem in her village /church/ family and the neighbourhood she just left.

If they don't deport him for immigration fraud he should thank God.

They were handcuffed and their legs were chained as they were carried like goats into the plane. The reason was because they were trying to be violent and threatening to bring down the plane. Like about half way through the journey they all became very calm and sober and the chains and handchuffs were taken off them. Except for one woman that refused to stop crying and insulting them till the plane landed.
