| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by Gbadugbakun(m): 4:33pm On Jun 27 |
They littered the whole application with world class training only to put up a salary of 200k. Do they even know the meaning of world class training? ![]() Anybody who has a world class training in sales wouldn't collect 200k as salary. So they should allow us rest. |
| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by boldmkay: 4:33pm On Jun 27 |
Better than nothing coz jobs are scarce |
| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by nurey(m): 4:39pm On Jun 27 |
If you know the job doesn't fit you, don't bad mouth it, leave let someone who appreciates it grab it, those of us earning 1million naira per month started from somewhere. 200k in Kano is a very good offer even for a family man, Lagos and Abuja should be perfect for a single guy just starting out in life |

ribbit:This is how people like u encourage poverty in the land. An international firm paying just 200k in Nigeria of today. U and that jiji are evil. Transport alone will consume all that in Abuja because that is where i stay. Keep encouraging rubbish. If anyone in Kubwa should take up this job,he or she might even run mad before month end. Below is the analysis: If u live in kubwa, say chikakore. Transport to: Transport to express is about #1,000 Transport to town #1,500 Transport fro: #1,000 #1,500 Feeding: #1,500 A day cost...#6,500 Multiply by 24 days That is #156,000 I am not even talking about those living inside kubwa village that is sharing boundary with Niger state. God will help the poor in this country. |

geoworldedu:You people just talk He said a single guy who is just starting but you didn’t waste any time to add “dependants” No amount of salary is perfect if you have exceeding responsibilities. Even if you’re earning 7 figures. So 200k is perfect for some people considering their current situation. |
| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by tomalvickie4335: 9:42pm On Jun 27 |
This is Fake Job Post, why Nairaland promoting it, The 200k is highly misleading, it is Only Commision based Job,where you will be Given a target of Selling up to 500k to the Jiji Users, where you will try to Convince them to pay for Jiji Premium Services, Without meeting the Targets 1 Kobo you will not see, And this Jiji premium is not making sense as people are not really seeing the use of what they paying Jiji premium services for and as there are many Alternatives like Facebook marketplace which is free and more Effective, So for you to see a Customer to pay for Yeye Jiji premium you go Waka tired, The Job is in. The Neighborhood of GNLD, Jiji teams are doing Aggressive marketing, They are not selling again, that’s why they are resulting to this, They are using Young Nigerians to achieve their Selfish gain, Just this year alone they Invited people for the training more than 6 times , |
| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by tomalvickie4335: 9:49pm On Jun 27 |
It is a Pyramid scheme, first month, Bring 500k sales , qualify for Like 5 percent commission ahead and transport Allowance,Transport Allowance is only paid if you meet the target of 500k , the second month, they will still give you higher target say 750k , then they increase the commission percentage, 3rd month Target of 1 million , it goes on and on, So you are using all your Energy to bring money to the company in returns they pay you a token as Commission, it is not better to face your own hustle rather than a company use you as Slave |

ILoveNG:200k is not perfect for even a man with no dependant. It is just money to manage. People who are in abject poverty right now might think it is perfect until they get there and see that 200k for even a starter is not perfect. Let's break it down Starter must sha eat daily 1200 per meal is #3600 daily. Multiply by 30 That's #108,000 spent on food already. The remaining money for that guy to spend is 92k for one month. Barbing twice a month is 3k Transportation in Lagos to work and back daily is 3k, so in 30 days is 60k Buying soap and toiletries for a month is like 10k . Don't even talk about buying gas to cook food. You have to borrow to get things done and pay back with interest. Is that what we call perfect? I've not talked about saving monthly to pay up for house rent of 500k in Lagos o. There is not even room for that. |
| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by Mountbatten: 10:01pm On Jun 27 |
200K in the big 2026 is simply pathetic. Maybe this works in Kano but not in Lagos or Abuja for a FT postion. |
| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by ILoveNG: 10:52pm On Jun 27 |
geoworldedu:Mr billionaire, you just exposed your ignorance, a lot of people working in Lagos don’t eat 3 times a day. Two moderate meals are enough for a working adult. Even for CEOs. Some even prefer just snacks at midday. I have been emphasizing personal circumstances, you don’t just generalize a claim because of a possibility you are thinking in your head. What if they don’t have to spend that much on transportation ? What if they are not saving for a 500k rent? Look at you talking about poverty as if you have an idea if what you’re talking about. If 200k is not enough for you, you have no business applying for a 200k job. If 700k can’t meet your needs, you have no business applying for a 700k role. Why do you think companies put out salaries with the job advertisement? And those that didn’t will still ask you salary expectations during interview. There are other people that the pay fits there current circumstances. |

ILoveNG:I responded to the person who said that the money is perfect for a single guy. If it must be perfect, then it must be 3 square meals. It's like poverty has started reshaping people's heads to start thinking that eating 3 times daily is not normal ![]() |
| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by nurey(m): 6:10am On Jun 28 |
I. Don't know why people are so adamant about rubbishing hard work of others, it was this same nairaland I told people that since my existence in life I have not rent a house in my life. If I am offered 200k salary can't I still be living with my parents which removes paying house rent from the salary. My family or my neighbor drops me off at work even if they cannot pick me after work doesn't that reduces my transportation expenses. At my age I still carry food to work, I eat snacks in the morning and eat the food mid day meaning my morning and afternoon is sorted out. When you see the condition of the salary you try to adjust your expenses, the extra saved at those times can be used to startup a side hustle which adds extra to your salary. Trying to adjust your expenses to fit your salary isn't poverty but a lifeline, know what you are doing, build yourself for better opportunities and growth. Some of you don't know the reality of Nigeria now, those who couldn't collect 30k salary with me in 2019 more than 90% of them haven't achieved half of what I have today. |

motymop: Onewazobia: Gbadugbakun: ruffhandu: ibechris:How many jobs have you created and how much do you pay your staff? You cannot answer this question then STFU. geoworldedu:Can a jobless man afford half of everything you listed? Ehn "Mr. Breakdown"...Not all jobs are for you, there are people who will apply because they NEED the job rather than stay jobless and hungry. The way una dey reason sometimes no dey make any sense at all. |
| Re: Jiji Job Recruitment (3 Positions) by ibechris(m): 9:26am On Jun 28 |
KingOfAmebo:I have a company that I established on the 8th of January of 2026 registered with CAC and pays nothing less than 500k monthly and it's tax compliant. And I have four staff members working for me. When I say that amount is small it is indeed small. Except u love poverty and hate growth. |
