I changed my Xiaomi 13 screen in March and have been unable to use my on-screen fingerprint.

It says "Couldn't add fingerprint, try again" when I try to add my fingerprint in the settings.

I have tried to calibrate it via the CIT menu in settings. It gives a "PERFORMANCE CHART ERROR" in the 2nd step (BLACK FLAT). I have tried everything I know to pass this step, including reinstalling HyperOS and wiping my phone. Still, nothing.
I've attached two of the three errors it's shown me.

If there's anyone in Lagos that can fix this, I am willing to come there.

I had same issue I followed the steps on YouTube and was able to fix it.... First you need to use a white paper to place on the screen then it will record it then press next and place your finger then the final prompt will tell you successfull. If you still see failed then retry again... As I said... White plain paper then your finger when successful go to settings to add your finger print.

I no wan quote anybody but about the call recording issue, this argument of creepy or not creepy wouldn't be there if Google no implement the announcement that the call is being recorded. I think it's an EU thing.

Wetin we go talk about all these Tecno phones wey no dey announce recording? Even my Samsung sef no dey announce before recording. And it's on auto record.

Sometimes you may need to refer to calls to get some information. To me it's not creepy. Na the announcement make am creepy

It's actually illegal. Judges don't accept such exhibit if you didn't obtain the consent of the person on the other end.

@bolded is why I record call, I work in logistics and I receive alot of calls, I can't save all number, I always refer back to the recorded calls to get information on specific driver, I don't see what is creepy here. My Samsung and button phone record call without announce it. If I knew that this is how redmi operated, I wouldn't have purchase the phone

Best is to inform your caller your are recording for accurate record purpose only. This shouldn't be too hard.

Don't generalise sha. I can agree the F6 gets a little hot but it also cools off very fast. And one thing I noticed is that people don't know the kind of cases or pouches they use can also hamper heat dissipation.

Naa they are not, I'm using the 12t pro with 8gen1 plus processor.
I had to stay away from 8gen1 or 888 chipset,tbey are prone to over heating.

The heating issue with 8 gen 1 and 888 is part of the reason I'm not going for either normal 12 or samsung s21

Just order for the charging board from Aliexpress and replace it to avoid stories. It's less than $3.
