To validate his question by playing into his flawed argument is to assume that people were sitting on information that had been verified by investigators and decided not to act on it.

The “Epstein files” weren’t even a thing until Trump’s first presidency. And by that I mean the whole accusation of Epstein being a purchaser of little kids for old men and elites and the grand scale at which it was happening.

Prior to that, he had individual accusations that were treated as isolated cases and I think he served an 18 month sentence for one of them (big mistake IMO).

When the accusation by Virginia and the investigations into the trafficking ring he was running started , no president in their right mind would start releasing information on a case that was under investigation. Not without the risk of messing up the outcome and possibly giving him armor to escape justice.

That’s why Trump wasn’t expected to release them his first term. Neither was Biden expected to since the investigations were still ongoing as well. Trump knew that very well at the time yet he capitalized on it to rile up his followers. The investigation is concluded and the department of justice has been mandated to release everything now as of Dec 2025.

It’s solely on Trump’s administration to release it but we have seen how much he’s implicated in them and why he’ll never do it. Everything else is just steupid whataboutism.
