2027 Presidency: Ijaw Nation Carries Out Tribal Poll On Who To Vote: See Winner. by DitariofIjaw(op): 5:34pm On Jun 29
The Lovers of Ijaw Nation Organization (LINO), an Ijaw civil rights organization, says it conducted an opinion poll across the six major states where the Ijaw people are indigenous (of which from Ondo Ijaw to Akwa-Ibom Ijaws you can move all through without passing none Ijaw areas just unjust State balkanizations when Ijaws aren't even scattered in nature) ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

According to LINO, the poll covered the 86 Ijaw clans and 2,848 Ijaw villages and communities, where the organization says it has a presence alongside the Ijaw National Congress (INC) and the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC). The survey asked one main question:
Which presidential candidate does the Ijaw Nation support?
LINO stated that over 1,000 people were contacted in each clan.

Bayelsa State
According to the poll, many respondents in Bayelsa said they support Peter Obi, believing he is associated with a political movement that includes Ijaw interests. The state recorded an aggregate support of 78% for Peter Obi.

Edo State
In Edo Ijaw communities, respondents said their major concern is the construction of roads to connect their more than 250 communities. Many said they are not focused on either the present government or Peter Obi but on any leader who will improve their lives. Even so, the poll recorded an aggregate of 64% support for Peter Obi.

Ondo State
Among the Ijaws in Ondo State, respondents were less focused on Peter Obi and more interested in unity among themselves. They said they would support any candidate who would benefit their people. Some also said President Tinubu has not treated them badly but has not done enough. The poll recorded 53% support for Peter Obi.

Delta State
In Delta State, LINO said Tompolo enjoys strong support among the people. However, many respondents said they would rather support a presidential candidate who values the Ijaw people instead of taking the ports out of their land. Delta was described as the most politically neutral Ijaw state in the survey. Peter Obi received 45%, while all other candidates combined received 55%.

Rivers State
According to the poll, many Rivers Ijaw respondents said they voted for Peter Obi in the last election and intend to do so again. They also expressed a desire to end a political system they believe does not allow their votes to fully count. The survey recorded 85% support for Peter Obi.

Akwa Ibom State
The poll also reported that Ijaws in Akwa Ibom showed strong support for Peter Obi, with an aggregate of 65%.

Randomly asked one thousand people in each of the 86 Clans then write down the numbers of supporters for each of the 5 top candidates.

Then at the end concluded their percentage through mathematical calculations in connection to their overall numbers of supporters.

Though I may not share in your diehard optimism but you gave a good reply without trying to deflect your response

And one mod brought this to front page…all these kind of posts that will make some people start shouting rigging when real election result comes out.
Nairaland self is a site that is being used to propel the wheel or division and hate amongst Nigerians,if not ,a poll that even up to 98% of its members do not participate is not supposed to come to front page
PulaPower:
Shouting rigging is normal when you lose..

Losers all around the world do shout rigging. Trump also shouted rigging when he was defeated in the previous election..

It’s normal for losers..
this poll now is credible when they didn’t even participate, whe INEC own that they will participate will become incredible.i hope they will keep this online mandate very well cos we don’t want to hear that it has been stolen again

My fear is that the votes of Supreme Court justices count more than those of 200 million Nigerians.

This should be for more jokes

When Abure was removed as LP chairman, some of his boys who are interested in contesting for elective position was sent to NDC earlier unknowingly.

Even if NDC is giving free ticket to their members, The Abure boys can never allow the likes of Aisha Yesufu to get any as it's pay back to time.

If you have been wondering why those who associated with Obi loss out in NDC primary, that was the work of Abure and his boys which they will finish the work till the election

Currently, all South South state governors are in Apc, and before telling me they have one vote, what about their supporters?

Ijaw will injure Tinubu with votes but INEC with their high necks will help in rigging the election massively. If you challenge them, they will direct you to the Jury to give you the final Injury grin

Forget this poll:

Do you really think that in reality, any Ijaw man will vote for Bola Tinubu?

Trust me, if Obi is not on that ballot, we will all be on holiday in Ijaw land than vote for Tinubu, and if it is a crime not to vote, then we'd better be called criminals.

Obi can take the results of this polls to the tribunals after his defeat at the polls next year.
Re: 2027 Presidency: Ijaw Nation Carries Out Tribal Poll On Who To Vote: See Winner. by YoungLionken(m):
Tribalism is the reason why the nation will never move forward! Imagine tiny Ijaw already thinking about theirs only (selfishly), not what will benefit the general good of the Nigerian populace. Talking about nation building, how can we build a nation like this (with everyone thinking about only their own)??

GEJ was President for six years, what did he do as an ijaw man undecided? Rubbish!!

Lastly, stop claiming everywhere as yours, especially riverine areas; Ondo, Edo, Akwa Ibom, y'all are immigrants to those places, not your place...

Delete that Ijaw in Akwa Ibom State out. There is no Ijaw in Akwa Ibom State. Why would Ijaw people always claim any community that live in the riverine area as
Ijaw?

A community who does not speak your language and has no similarity in culture with you people .

Normally the whole South South tribes, majority like Peter Obi.

That's if the votes will be allowed to count.

If election is to be done free and fair, Tinubu will not even contest because that will be a waste of resources. APC would have changed their presidential candidate.

NLCreator:
Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly.

There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers.

Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million.

The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”.

While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use.

“Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said.

“Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office.

“So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.”

Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future.
