Most of these artefacts were looted in the 1890's. Honestly the Benin kingdom is a case study,they were long developed and had a lot of cultural artefacts which Europeans could only dream off,imagine some time ago,the Netherlands returned over a 100 artefacts,while British government also returned quite a number of artefacts and so many others are still out there.
That's why it baffles me when the Yorubas try to rub shoulders with Benin kingdom. It is obvious Benin gave birth to the Yoruba kingdom and all Yoruba Oba's should at all times pay homage to Oba of Benin. I mean honour should be giving to whom it belongs to.

And instead of us to use them to take us foward by modern thinking we will use it to hold ourselves in traditional chains and take ourselves backwards.

You said the 'glory of the Lord',if you know God,you wouldn't have made that statement,our God is not an author of confusion,our God is impartial and can not be bribed or swayed by political gimmicks.

More than ever before,more and more people are going to vote against the man whom has brought pain and sufferings in their lives.
