"And it's bringing our pedigree and quality down as a continent"

Bro, we no get pedigree for world cup na. Abi na my mind dey deceive me
We have oo bro…Africa may not have won the world cup…But the likes of Super eagles raised a high standard in 1994 and 1998, Senegal gave a good account in 2002, Ghana did well in 2010, Morocco brushed their way to the semifinals in 2022.
Thats a good statement/pedigree from African teams which we(Africans) need to sustain every worldcup edition.
Enough of cowardice display that will always see these Europeans dominate us

Omo, I slept off early yesterday

Just watch that France highlights

Bro, the team wey go bewt France has to sacrifice 20 Virgins ooo with one babe inside deep forest for oyo state

Because this team too fluid brother. See passes, see shooting, see midfield.

When will Nigwria get to this level Olorun?
.
Make we even try win AFCON sef. This current Super Eagles team has a high ceiling for improvement but NFF is weapon fashioned against them..

We need reinforcements gan foe that midfield

Had it been Africans are perennial world beaters at any worldcup edition, we would have seen some exciting fixtures of Africa vs Africa in round 16 sha🤦🏽‍♀️
Morocco vs SA (This would have been possible, SA had no business losing to Canada)

Capeverde vs Egypt (chai this one no fit happen oo😅🤣, can CPV beat Argentina?…Egypt can do the job against Australia though)

Algeria vs Ghana (If these ones are serios ambitious teams we may have this fixture in round 16…but watch how the two of them go dey pack tipper amd play for draw to wait for penalty until their more serious opponent knack them die mins goals)

Omo Broooooooooo🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅🤣🤣….The team that may come close to beating them are in this particular order
1. Argentina(Messi’s x-factor) I will give them a 70% chance to beat France
2. Spain(Lamine Yamal’s X-factor) i will give them a 50% chance to beat france
3. Brazil(Vini junior x-factor) i will give them a 40% chance to beat france
4. Morocco (no x-factor in this team) but a very compact side going forward and defending, i will also give them a 40% chance to beat france
5. Mexico/USA(Home advantage x-factor🤣) i will give them both a 30% chance to beat France
6.England no get mouth for this year’s world cup abeg…I will give them 20% chance to beat France
7. Portugal( Ororo X-gini?🤣🤣🤣)X-factorization..I will give them a 15% chance to beat France.

8. Super eagles(Osimhen,Lookman and Tinubu LCM and HCF) i will give them 5% chance of beating France🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That frontline alone is 11 Goals and 9 assists at this WC alone.

Barcola - 2 goals, 1 assist
Olise - 4 assists
Dembele - 4 goals, 2 assists
Mbappe - 5 goals, 2 assists

Then behind them is a really solid midfield, highly technical yet physically imposing.

Their defence - The Great Wall Of France that stands as tall as the Eiffel tower.

Indeed, my dear colleague... They are favorites for many reasons.
This french team reminds of how super eagles were set up in 1994 and 98. The individual brilliance was peak yet they played as a team. If Nigeria wants to succeed, we'll need players that can sniff blood and do whatever is necessary at the right moment while team chemistry is the path to such boooommm!!!

The french bench again is something else. There barely much Deschamps can do but he's doing the job of managing this team well. This team is allowed to have ego problems but we don't even hear it. That is one issue that ruined the super Eagles that year. If that's the most a manager can do to a team, he's successful imo. Cos a cool tactician can come and still fail cos of ego battles. Olise alone e dey. Kone dey,

I imagine how it would have been if Ekitike was here and coming from the bench.

This team will reach the finals. I doubt Morocco can stop them. I really doubt Portugal too. Germany and Netherlands are out so only Spain can give problems but even their backline has not really been tested like France own.

Scenes where 3 African teams are in the q/final😜😆

France will be using foreigners to destroy their opponents. When will nigeria start using mercenaries to compete on the world stage. Look at how sharp the french attack is

The NFF need to start recruiting foreign players now. That's the only way we can compete with quality teams. Morrocco has gone far, and they will keep attracting foreign players. More are coming even after the world cup. We need to start now.

I have been bored to death of this narrative @Emboldened since 2006.It is nothing but a western right-wing talking point propagated by r-a-c-is-ts fuelled by jealousy. The black French players for France are French.Full stop.

In my humble opinion,Nigeria suffers more from a lack of organization issue than a talent pool problem

In the world cup, that is not pedigree. Nigeria reached second round and has not exceeded it. Senegal(2002), Ghana(2014) and Cameroon(1990) reached quarter finals once each and have not exceeded it.

Morocco reached the semis once.

These is not pedigree abeg.

They are actually, atleast getting further in a world cup tournament is our level as Africans for now, so dropping that trend is like dropping our qualities and history…

A minor - if slightly unnecessary - quibble here, but Ghana reached the quarterfinals in 2010, and not 2014.

The only team that'll give France problem will be Spain and Morocco Argentina might get a good fight Aswell

Just keep the ball away from them and you're on your way to deal with them

And the Midfield will be where France lose the game

Except you haven't been really watching this people

They haven't met a strong side the game Vs Norway would've given us that but Norway Benched players

Let's see how it goes sha
