Harry Kane shooting from there exposes the naivety of DRC defenders at this level. How do you give him time and space to escape from you and score from there?
Anyway, kudos to Kane... He is a World Class Punisher.

i was initially surprised to see the 0;1 lead ... i know they are not tactical enough to retain the lead ... If it were to be SE , I will feel same way too .. africa is not ready it ... i expect them to lead by 2 goals then let chase the game ..its a pity thay have to come back home as soon as they can
grin

Who gave that pass from midfield to Bellingham before the goal? That pass was incredible

The good news is Morocco still hasn't touched our record of 5th in the world (at least not yet 😭)

If England had lost to DRC, all it would take is a win against Canada to finally nick that spot.

FIFA ranking won't make Morocco touch Nigeria records in football for a very long time,
Nigeria will bounce back

EBL said same thing.
In his words, Kane and Gyokeres (he wrote about him too) are two strikers you shouldn't give space inside or around the box. Their finishing are mad

The 3 lions roared and the opponents bowed.

England 2-1 DRC FT

Kane masterclass. 72 goals for club and country this 2025/26 season. That is 10 behind Messi's best ever of 82 in 2011/12 season and 3 ahead of CR7's 69 in 2011/12 as well.

Messi also had 69 in 2012-13 season.

Harry Harold Kane, The Scoring Knight of the 3 Lions 🔥

Na deja vu. He had a somewhat similar chance against Arsenal and blew it and that proved decisive

Nigeria doesn’t deserve to be at the World Cup.
DR Congo might just represent Africa better than Nigeria at the World Cup after all.
From home?

Kaaaiii... As in, it was like they thought he cant hurt them from that angle of the box. But Goke, do you know how funny this sounds?

A Whole Kane being UNDERRATED to score from there by DRC defenders due to inexperience... naah this is wild.

Omo super eagles jus sat gidigba for that 24/25th since world cup started…though Egypt is a point behind us, a win for tuem against Australia Egypt will climb to number 3 in Africa and Nigeria drop to 4th.
If Morocco beats Canada they will still close in on that 5th oo, they are currently 6th with few points behind Brazil…And Brazil must beat Norway to remain there else Morocco will enter that 5th
