If that PK was against Belgium, would the ref still give it? |

If the PK was so clear, how come it took forever before it was decided? Why decide to give a PK at the dead of the night when it was 80% unclear? They kept showing one particular area, didn't show the area it would have been obvious. Anyways, to hell with Senegal, their style of football in this world cup was obviously horrible to watch. |

Procashtips:If Belgium were the one leading Senegal 0-2, would Senegal had equalise in 90 mins? Senegal should blame themselves and not any referee |

Sadly, It was a penalty. Lamine Camara did kick Tielemans' foot and not the ball. Pape Thiaw's game management was shitty and taking out Pape Gueye on 66mins, so early to bring in Lamine Camara who went on to concede a pen is quite pointedly disastrous. Belgium wins and it is Afcon final De Ja Vu for Senegal. Darkhorse Belgium survives another African Powerhouse. |

I think it's not a stereotype when Europeans demean us for having subpar mental acuity, it hurts but it's the truth. |

I feel like crying man. Before this tournament I made up my mind to hatewatch all other African teams, partly due to jealousy of not qualifying and partly because the majority of them in the recent past (AFCON 2023, WCQ playoffs etc) don't wish us well or even give us credit when we're winning. On that note, I'm conflicted. I'm happy to see other African teams leave but I can't deny that our performance in this World Cup is a huge cause for concern. Because what do you mean you can dominate matches but you can't close them out? This is three fking matches back to back! Ivory Coast dominated Norway DR Congo dominated England in the first half Senegal you were leading by two goals for 80+ mins! Two fking goals!! What do you mean you're losing 3-2!?! South Africa was the only exception as they were simply trash all through against Canada Whether you're hate watching or not, this should be a huge cause for alarm. There's something not quite right with African teams' mentality when it comes to performing on the global stage. I'd prefer we got completely trounced and outplayed like majority of the AFC teams than for us to keep losing like this. |

Forget about Tuninia's performance. This is perhaps the worst outing of any African team in World Cup history. To lose in this manner is so damn embarrassing. Where does African football go from here? |

The calls for some moments were controversial sha. But Senegal have themselves to blame. They better goan find a proper DM an new CBs. Imagine Onana bossing midfield with Morera and Tielemanns. Shuuuu. |

Ppogbae:Like i used to say, there's a way you'll lose and everyone will still agree you fought well. This game shows how Nigeria and Cameroon will continue to be different at such instances. How will Caf champions be 2-0 up and bottle such a lead? Arghhhhhhhh. This is terribly embarrassing for Senegal alone. It looks like they stopped thinking how to prevent The average Belgians after theor 1st goal. Senegal has sadly peaked to me. They have reach and will now go back to rebuild. Super Eagles 2-0 up at World cup and they go bottle am ke? Lol. Not even under Shaibu Amodu will that happen. |

Disgraceful Senegal. 4 games at the World Cup and 3 losses against European teams. African champions kpai them there. The dumbest team I have seen at the World Cup for a very long time. Let them run an IQ test. I can bet my mortgage that none of these Senegalese players have an IQ higher than 60. I have not been this angry for a long time. How can a team at this level simply throw it all away like this fucking team by simply making dumb decisions and lacking concentration? Senegal and a lot of these African teams have talented low-IQ players. They simply cannot concentrate and play for a prolonged period of time. Senegal is better than this Belgian team, but this Belgian team simply have smarter players. The problem we have in Africa is that the brightest among us just don't really play sports. Most of the people that play sports in Africa are usually from poor, educationally deprived areas. Senegal simply gave the game away through just a simple dumb decisions. It is really frustrating and annoying watching these African teams. Just plain dumb players with an inability to fully concentrate. Why are they always conceding late near stoppage times or in stoppage times? That fucking P.M. Sarr is a fucking disgrace of a footballer, and he is definitely on his way to Turkey. There is nowhere in hell that fucker is a Premier League player. Disgraceful Senegal. |

FiveFootNinja:How noble of you, as for me I feel numb to every African team in this tournament so I could care less if all of them go home. Only African team I'm somewhat emotionally locked in for is Cape Verde, and that's because I always love a Cinderella story in every big tournament especially for tiny debutant nations punching above their weight. Besides Cape verde I dey no follow una do all that African solidarity cause they don't really like you as a Nigerian anyway. |

My list of Tournament favorites, Darkhorses and Outside force selections have seen 6 advance and two booted OUT. 2 out of the 6 advanced teams, face each other in the round of 16 (Brazil v Norway). The most anticipated of the RO32 from this selection is Portugal (Top 5 favs) vs Croatia (Darkhorse). Up next from this selection: Spain (Top 5 Fav) vs Austria. Top 5 Favs in no order: - Spain ⏳️ - France ✅️ - Portugal - Argentina - England ✅️ Solid Dark horses: - Brazil ✅️ - - - Belgium ✅️ - Croatia (coz of their last 2 WCs) - Norway ✅️ Outside Force: - Morocco ✅️ TheSuperNerd: |

Procashtips:Your head dey there. That is my one gripe about VAR. In my opinion, all VAR checks should last no longer than 90 seconds. If an incident is still not clear and obvious in that time frame, nothing should be awarded. All these 4 or 5-minute VAR checks are nonsense |
