A replay would be lovely. Even lovelier Mbappe and co caries it this time. I foresee a lopsided final.
Never you write off Argentina, their kind of play always make it seems their opponents aren't good or doing enough. Romero, Otamendi, Lisandro Martinez, Molina and De Paul are still playing. These players always turns warriors whenever their matches becomes war

But I would really like to watch France conceding first against any of the other big teams and see how they would respond

I'm just pissed up with African teams at this round of 32 knock out phase. How can you be leading and then lose focus? Same thing would have happened if Nigeria qualified.

There is nothing special about Belgium. They have struggled and has been grinding results in this WC. USA will beat them

What a performance from the U.S.A. The courage to push forward despite having just 10 players and then winning and scoring a free kick to make it 2:0 was really incredible. This team keeps making me happy every time I watch them play. They are indeed shocking the whole world. 💥👏💥

You see the difference in a team that has a gaffer that knows how to manage a game, vs one who takes off his most effective midfielder in the 60th minute of a knockout match 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

The annoying part is that Balogun will miss the match against Belgium.

Forgive the Senegalese manager. He's not on Pochettino's level 😄

Like PDPGuy rightly said, Nigeria has never given up a 2 goal lead at the WC. Never happened.

Balogun was sent off for the very same challenge Lionel Messi escaped without punishment. Moments like this only reinforce the perception that FIFA gives Messi preferential treatment.

Make Argentina concede first make we see how your men go respond na. plus thier opponents have been relatively weaker. Their own side of the bracket looks like an easy ride.

Internal team tensions in Senegal camp, maybe the reason they lost..
The Senegalese team I saw at this World Cup just did not look right to me. I really thought there was something off about that team. Pape Gueye was very good for Villarreal this past season; he is by far Senegal's best midfielder. I can never understand why he was getting benched in some Senegalese games. He was running the midfield today and never looked tired to me, and when he was substituted in the early part of the second half, I was stunned.

I said it before that I never really rated that Senegalese coach, and I advocated that Senegal need to go get a proper coach after the World Cup because I felt he was just getting carried by the talent on that Senegalese team. Kalidou Koulibaly, Idrissa Gueye, and Sadio Mane now need to make way for the younger generation to take over.

Senegal needs to go and appoint a proper football head coach that will tactically, mentally, and psychologically get that team ready for AFCON 2028, 2029, and the 2030 World Cup. Coaching is a big part of football; if Eric Chelle was the manager of this Senegalese team, you would have seen a high-tempo, high-pressing team that would have been on the front foot. He would have taken this Senegalese team to at least the quarterfinals in this competition.
