I don't have any specific knowledge on the certificate you would need, but I think the other person did not remember that there are two pathways for the visa, the point system and the university degree pathway. The point system is the one that requires certification, and I haven't seen any info on that. Most people here use university degree. Prettypetal2025: |

Between a €13,000 blocked account and a part-time job contract with a €3,000 blocked account, which is better and increases visa approval chances? |

I think you would need to do more research, but here is a good starting point https://www.expatrio.com/opportunity-card Prettypetal2025: |

Please guys any update? Also October applicants, have you started receiving invites? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by gumroad: 1:31pm On Jun 19 |
Since early March, I haven't seen anyone post about receiving a decision after their interview. What's happening? Has everyone suddenly stopped sharing updates? Joybena: |

Please, I only responded to the question asked if anyone has got decision. I don't know anything about the person's process be it the date he or she applied or receive the decision. I just felt the need to pass the information that someone got the visa. Thanks |

Hello everyone, please I need some advice. My birth certificate contains incorrect spellings of my surname and my parents’ surnames. Since I’m unable to obtain a corrected birth certificate, I’ve opted for an attestation process. I first completed an affidavit for age declaration before getting the attestation done. However, I’ve already uploaded the birth certificate with the errors. Will I be able to remove it and upload the NPC attestation when I get to the PR stage? Also, is the NPC attestation sufficient as a valid replacement document in this case? Any guidance will be appreciated. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Jollyana(f): 10:17pm On Jun 21 |
You can't delete or remove any document you have previously uploaded. You can only add the newly updated docs. The NPC attestation and the age declaration affidavit from a High Court work best. Someone once said they favored this because it has a QR code on it that they can scan to verify your details. Funmibiayo: |

| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Laryfrosh: 12:52pm On Jul 02 |
Chocolatey17:They've not even gone far in October... October 8th candidates yet to be called. September applicants should help us with the status of their applications so far... If they've gotten to the interview stage or still on the review stage. |

Do I need to visit Federal ministry of education and federal ministry of foreign Affair to authenticate and verify my academic credentials if I'm going to Germany through Skilled worker visa? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by JIGGERNAPPY(m): 5:33am On Jul 04 |
Darien4:You don’t need to as long as your documents are ok and no forged one. One of the most important things you can do for this journey is to evaluate your Degree through Zab. Even though your Degree and your School is on Anabin. It saves the long process of verifications and makes them perceive you as being ready. Also, make sure the company intending to give you the contract goes through Agentur für Arbeit to evaluate the salary and see if it is matches the role they are offering to you. You might be denied even though your documents are ok but your salary doesn’t meet the minimum threshold for the role offered. If possible, ask the company to help you do a ‘Fast Track Procedure’ it means ‘beschleunigtes Fachkräfteverfahren‘. It will cost the company €411 to do it. Due to the cost, not every company will want to do it but if they eventually agree, after your physical appointment at the embassy, within 4weeks, you'll get your visa approved. |

JIGGERNAPPY:Interesting. What then is the typical timeline?. I thought 4 weeks is already long |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Darien4: 2:14pm On Jul 04 |
Thank you very much. I've applied for Zab/kmk verification and the company is waiting for the Zab result to proceed with fast tracking 81a procedures both at their expenses JIGGERNAPPY: |

Hello everyone, I stumbled on this thread last year "Migrating to Germany for free" sounded interesting, and I read it end to end to understand the process, eye opening honestly. I joined the opportunity card waitlist, but knowing I couldn't afford the blocked account amount, I started job hunting, hoping to land a part-time role to meet the funds requirement. It went further than expected, I went through an interview process, the company suggested I look into the blue card instead so I could work full-time, and I eventually got a full-time offer that clears the threshold. So I'm now on the Blue Card route. Got my ZAB done in about two weeks (Blue Card priority) and submitted. Thank you to everyone keeping this thread alive, I genuinely wouldn't have known where to start without it. One question for those ahead of me: I had a few things to correct at the preliminary review stage and fixed most of them. After the last correction required, which I completed over a week ago, I haven't heard back and the portal still shows preliminary review. Is that normal? Earlier, correction requests came within a day or two, so I'm not sure if the silence means everything's now in order or something else. Would appreciate any experience. |

tecchy:I'm not sure you did the right thing and your application will most likely be rejected. You cant apply whilst being under consideration for a Blue card as you have a full time offer already. You have to stick to one which in your case should be the blue card. Since you have a full time offer, I would advise you strictly stick to the blue card and possibly withdraw your opportunity card application. BTW, this is just an advise, please feel free to do your own thorough research before deciding |
