Do you even understand spiritual warfare? People like you compromise the truth to be friend with the world.
What has spiritual warfare have to do with to adult male fucking each other ?

If the devil tempts you with gay it means you fancy it and just suppressing it

Would devil tempt you with what you don’t like or crave for ?

➜I’m not religious Even the Bible say all sins are equal Would you bring your daughter to be stoned to death if she marries as a none virgin ?
➜ Would you bring your stubborn child to be stoned to death ?
➜Hope you don’t wear cloths of different materials? You can’t choose some laws while ignoring others
➜ I can’t understand why a straight man would be angry with a gay man who is leaving more women for you …. Makes no sense
Let's stop making stuff up! The book does not suggest this; rather, it insists that a woman who defrauds a man by claiming to be a virgin should be stoned to death. There are literally numerous examples of non-virgin women marrying in that same book, for those with a brain and paying attention. undecided

2. A child who does so is suggested to have committed treason in the land...given that the duty of parents was to pass down the Law(the Constitution of the ancient nation of Israel) to their children with obedience as a requirement. A child, particularly, a son of the bloodline of Israel who refused or rejected the Law, was one who commits treason against the Land. And last I checked, to this day, treason remains a crime punishable by death in most places. undecided

3. That rule was given to the tribe of Levi, the priests/law enforcement system of the land. These were the particular group set apart for strict traditions. They were even given a dress code that the other people were not required to adhere to. undecided

I am neither religious, and I don't believe the book in question has anything to do with religion. But at least stop ignorantly referencing its content if you are not at least willing to deal honestly. undecided

4. LOL... grin

Islam doesn't support homosexuality. That's just the injustice done by the Northerners.

Islam is free of their injustice.

Islam prescribes a very harsh punishment for whoever is caught in the act.
Can you please show this harsh punishment for Homosexuality in Islam?

Re: 1988 Article About Homosexual Prostitutes In Kano (Throwback) by DiamondsAreFore: 2:05pm On Jul 02
Apart from the Zande tribe of Central Africa and perhaps the Buganda tribe in East Africa, homosexuality was extremely rare in sub saharan Africa.

nairalanda1:
It predates the colonial times, heck it even goes back to long before Islam came to Kano.

(Keep in mind that I am discussing history, I am not here to attack anybody's tribe or religion).

A lot of tribes in subsaharan Africa did do 'a bit of gay'. It does not mean it was acceptable...but it happened.(and it wasn't acceptable in the vast majority of tribes)

If anything, the colonial masters brought in laws that codified homo behaviour as criminal activity...our current law is descended from English laws against 'sodo..my' in the 19th century.

Deuteronomy 22:20–21 (NIV)
"If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman’s virginity can be found, she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you."

Deuteronomy 21:18–21 (NIV)
"If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. They shall say to the elders, 'This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.' Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid."

Thank you

Is corruption not an evil spirit ? Is greed not an evil spirit

You guys focus too much on something that doesn’t affect you

Why not mind your business and allow God judge gays ?

Actually we don't emulate animals in any way. In fact, the few times when we do imitate animals, we are called out for it and condemned.

Animals defecate openly in public. If we did that, it would be considered degrading.

Animals have intimate relationships in public. If we did that, we would be considered as existing below human standards.

The truth is that apart from a few biological functions, humans have absolutely nothing in common with animals.

RandDigital:
Your fellow dunderhead homophobe asked for examples of animals practicing homosexuality and he was skooled.

Yes we don't emulate animals in everyway but that a philosophical matter I doubt your little homophobic and neanderthal brain can comprehend.

1. The charges can only be brought if the woman originally claimed she was a virgin. A woman who never claimed to be a virgin wouldn't have charges brought up against her, as implied by the content of the passage that you quoted from. Also, right in the next book to Deuteronomy, we read of a prostitute who later married. I can bet you she never claimed she was a virgin to the man she married, as there is no mention of charges being brought against her by virtue of the law in Deuteronomy 22. undecided

2. As explained, the duty of children was to honor their father and mothers, whose primary duty was to raise their children in the way that is the Law(Constitution of the Land) and see to it their obedience. Parents were commanded not to cover up for any child who violated the Law, aka committed treason. undecided

This was my biggest cultural shock in the north

Funny thing they see it as normal and different from being gay

Can’t explain the idea it’s weird sha

I have no problem with anyone being gay but don’t involve underage that’s just my issue

Everyone deserve to be loved and love who they want as long as. It’s mutual and both are adults
Which cultural shock?

Are you not from Anambra?

Same Anambra that NACAN did a census on disorderly houses and establishments within Onitsha and Awka and discovered over 50 gay hookup spots.

In that head bridge area , there are homosexual dens all over the place.

Anambra is the gay capital of Nigeria so don't act as if you were shocked.

Even Kanu alleged that your Obi sleeps with men and we know that Obi's own son is an openly flamboyant gay man.

So stop forming shock.
Re: 1988 Article About Homosexual Prostitutes In Kano (Throwback) by DiamondsAreFore: 2:40pm On Jul 02
The problem with your conclusion is that it overlooks one important fact: Freedom of choice.

It is generally not easy to be gay in Nigeria, but it is far less difficult in the South to be gay than in the North.
The worst fate that can await a gay man in the South is imprisonment. In the North it is either execution by stoning or beheading.

So the fact that anyone is openly gay in the North, in spite of the extreme hostility to the lifestyle over there, should already tell you that there must be a lot of closeted gay men in Northern Nigeria.

How does that excuse Anambra having the highest gay hookup spots in Nigeria according to the National agency responsible for combating AIDS?
Re: 1988 Article About Homosexual Prostitutes In Kano (Throwback) by DiamondsAreFore: 2:48pm On Jul 02
Unless you have more recent data, NACA actually lists Lagos State as the leader in that statistical metric:

Lagos (2,974 total), followed by Cross River (2,666) and Rivers (2,494). Lagos stands out due to its large urban population, commercial activity, and metropolitan LGAs.

Then I will start to understand a Man sleeping with another Man...

Any Man that is sleeping with another Man is lesser than a Goat or a Dog...

Goat and Dog get sense pass that person...
There's nothing to understand or misunderstand about homosexuality. It's a deviation that has existed from the very beginning of time. In dogs, goats, cats. chickens etc., homosexuality exists in animals just as it exists in humans.

Okay, let's start with the history of Nigeria and the gays

As for dandauras...that it happens does not mean it is tolerated or wanted. They operate at night, not in the day.
This is the stinking hypocrisy we are talking about and the reason why this country may never progress.
So you mean the fact that it happens in your region doesn’t mean it’s tolerated right? So who told you it’s tolerated in the other regions just because it happened that an Anglican priest brought it to them according to your story?🤣
It’s not uncommon to see northern yolks ridiculing the southerners (females esp), calling them asharp and seeing this, one would erroneously think the worse isn’t happening in the north. Again, this is the hypocrisy that’s destroying Nigeria. So are you saying the dogs in hijabs and ankara wrappers in sabon gari and Bama road aren’t your daughters or are you saying they are southerners? Or should I start talking about those in the Kubwa and Wuse areas of Abuja and even Kaduna?
Na north you go see ashawo proudly donning hijab with Ankara skirts but their brothers are there acting as morality police🤣
Just recently, one of the highest ranking officers of this morality police unit was caught hanging the legs of another man’s wife in a hotel🤣 Hypocrites!

Erm, if you don't like Hausas, better say so

Plus, I was correcting the idea that the whole controversy started in 2015, it goes way back

Also, I served in the south, and was told at one time that there were some hideouts for gays not far from where i was, and also am aware that there are a lot of coded gays in every part of the south.

And this is not a tribe thing for me, nor was I defending it. The fact that they have to operate at night is even an example of how they are disdained in Kano. If it was approved by all Northerners, them dandauras would be flaunting their thing in broad daylight.

Also, grow up.
