Curse finally broken. Penalties shootout have dealt with them in the last 2 WCs especially vs Russia in 2018 and vs my Maroc in 2022.

Spain has been flawlessly dominant today.

3-0

10 shots on target vs 0 for Austria

Neither Portugal nor Croatia would fancy meeting Spain this early in the Round of 16 but it is inevitable now. Spain awaits the winner of CR7 vs Modric.

PDPGuy:
Spain win a World Cup knockout match for the first time since winning the 2010 World Cup 😎👌🏾

Inferiority complex as how na? Between DRC and England who suppose lose normally? DRC squad have a very strong mentality that helps them remain composed off the ball. That’s all. Not like they have a strong squad.

Norway squad also has more quality and balance than both CIV and Senegal.
They were the favorites.

The only match that I would fault an African team would be Senegal failing to keep off a struggling Belgium.
You’re one of the most truthful here! We just overrated these teams! In terms of pedigree they were no match for their opponents

I am glad reading this as it is a first step to his bounceback from this matter but with a final ultimate verdict awaited, I will stay my Joy for now.

I hope this serves as a huge lesson not just to Daga himself but to all our young black footballers from Nigeria and Africa as a whole. STAY AWAY FROM WOMEN IN EUROPE AND FOCUS ON YOUR FOOTBALL

waiting for a portugal attacker to make a movement beyond, good from Leao. Croatia can be exposed when you play through the channels to draw their midfielders across and the space can be cleared in the centre which the struggle to recover into. Portugal need to use power.

For argument sake let me agree with you. What about; Brazil Vs Morocco( 2026)
Netherland Vs Morocco (2026)
Belgium Vs Morocco (2022)
Spain Vs Morocco (2022)
Portugal Vs Morocco ( 2022)

In all the aforementioned matches Morocco was never a favourite but still survived them.

DRC was busy defending throughout the match, we all knew they can hardly survive that match despite leading. Norway and CIV are almost at d same level, nobody would be shocked if CIV had defeated them yday.

There is still one more curse. Spain has never won a round of 16 match since 2010 grin

A tactical showdown between Portugal and Croatia both sides holding firm at the break.

Will the second half bring a breakthrough, or are we headed for a tense finish?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 9JAMac10: 1:08am On Jul 03
Everybody is going to blame Portugal because Croatia has refused to come out to play football

Offside, Honestly what a great goal that would have been from Ronaldo
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 1:22am On Jul 03
CR7 thought he had equalised but VAR strikes correctly for an offside call.
