President Bola Tinubu jokingly referred to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu as "my dear wife, First Lady, Iya Alakara" during the Presidential Press Corps Dinner on Thursday.

The remark comes days after the First Lady faced criticism over comments urging Nigerians facing economic hardship to explore low-capital businesses such as frying akara, roasting corn and selling kulikuli.
