Re: Akwa-Ibom Section Of The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road by ArcSEMPECJ(m): 11:41am On Jul 03
Nice one , but whatever be it , how many drivers will have the heart and mond to take off in Lagos and see themselves in Calabar using this roadhuh?

Nigeria is jist like the Super Eagles who did not qualify for world cup but went buying world cup materials , by the time this road will be fit for use, regarding insecurity issues there will be maintenance issues to start battling....

I can only take this road from Lagos State and end in Lagos State.....another movement will be the major road we all know....

They push the news in the front page and push comments to back it up so that front page will be full of their comments ....

The same thing they do whenever they see anything to talk negatively about Peter Obi...

Security is being tackled. Only Peter Obi and his supporters that don't want better security for Nigeria and Nigerians

When the prices of fuel and cooking gas went up Nigerias didn’t need anyone to explain it to them they felt the impact—- if your government is working, you won’t need images or graphics do illustrate to Nigerians that you are working. People will feel the change in their day to day lives.

Coastal highway is good. But this is a misplaced priority. What Nigerians need at this moment is not coastal highway. Almost everybody needs electricity to survive in one way or the other. But I don't think Nigerians need coastal highway to survive.

.. if we can just achieve uninterrupted 16 hours out of 24 in a day, our economy will no doubt improve and experience a boom
Life is priority.
We need Security.
What's the essence of a highway without security?

Do you know the wonderful prospects of this ingenious project t by tinubu.......you will be able to do Lagos to PH in 4 hrs,to and fro same day......the SS will get more closer to lagos and a lot of socio economic development will take place in that region........you can actually plan a weekend getaway from lagos to akwa-cross and return Sunday evening, imagine what that will do to the tourism potential of those 2 states......you can actually live in ondo state and be working in lagos......development will start spreading out easing tge congestion lacuna lagos is already suffering from.

Ignore any negativity on that project they are only Bourne out of ethnic and political sentiments and shortsighted reactionaries........there were many of them in 1976 when the 3mb was being conceptualised in lagos but look at the immense benefit of that bridge to the economy of lagos and Nigeria at large, imagine lagos without that bridge, where would we have even found the money to build it now.

No they are not.
It is very obvious that this government does not have electricity in their top priorities. In my almost 50 years in life, I can boldly say it that this 2026 is the year of worst electricity supply in Nigeria. Only God knows how many businesses (especially SMEs) that have closed down this year.
Now that you've seen good road network infrastructure and work on state police you've shifted to electricity

Why are you always sad when Nigeria is progressing

Hope you are not planning to die by suicide

Both projects are not mutually exclusive. They can do both at the same time which they are doing
Re: Akwa-Ibom Section Of The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road by spiSeyi: 12:03pm On Jul 03
This project is needless because it lacks no major economic advantages. It's just another operation field for kidnappers, proper repair and upgrade of existing road with modern day security surveillance system would have gone a long way. Just imagine the notorious Lokoja, Ijebu-Ode and so many highways are all fixed and equipped 24/7 surveillance presence. The money wasted on this project would have done a more economic viable project which would have offset the loan from it revenue, imagine major
Speed train Network linking major city (Lagos-ABJ, Enugu-Aba, Aba-Lagos, Kaduna-Kano, Benin-Delta, Lagos-Uyo, Oweri-Lagos).
This project is a waste of national resources and just a way for T!nubu to compensate his Lebanese guy who owns HiTek undecided .

What makes you come to this stupid conclusion? Have you gone through my past comments before saying this or you just fabricated nonsense in your brain? I'm neither for Tinubu nor Obi, I hate politicians. I've always been complaining about poor electricity on this forum. Not all of us are political asslickers like you people. Gtfoh! 🤫
