BlackManta:
Australia allowed an 18 year old to take a penalty for them.

Older players stood by and passed responsibility to a teenager.

Shame on them.

FVCKING COWARDS

They deserved to loose.
This reminds me of Jonathan Tah's missed penalty kick that eliminated Germany vs Paraguay.

A defender who had never played a penalty in his professional career stepped up because Leon Goretzka, Waldemar Anton, Nathaniel Brown, and Malick Thiaw declined to take the 6th sudden death penalty...,.....and he skyed it, but I applaud his courage.

Unpopular opinion - Experienced players who decline to take PKs for their teams are saboteurs and should be given the Eric Cantona et al treatment

Me I have not been impressed with Cape Verde because they waste transitioning in attack, they want to dribble in defense but waste the ball in attack.

Very annoying play.

Excellent view

They keep allowing Argentina to regroup when they start counterattacking.

I want to believe the goal should make them come out with the if I perish I perish determination.

Hahahahahaha.... He said it for Kane and he got lucky with Ghana's haramball approach limiting Kane. But for Messi, he should have seen in the spirits that you cant tie one of the GOATs of the sport. A GOAT is akin to a god.

Pele, Maradona, Messi, CR7. These are football gods with Pele at the very very top of the Football god realm. That Ghanaian man na comedian in babalawo regalia. 😂😂

They play difficult passes out of midfield and defense, reach front and play rubbish, so many sweet run wasted.

Ekong, Ramos... I can go on and on.
Defenders that take good PKs are rare compared to their counterparts in midfield and forward positions.

Interesting Underdog fact:

Ranked 63rd when the tournament began, Cape Verde are the lowest FIFA-ranked nation (since the rankings started in 1992) to reach the WC Knockout stages on their debut appearance, and are the lowest ranked side to reach the knockouts at all since 70th-placed Russia in 2018.
