Don’t be myopic. The reason there is Obidient today is because of failed leadership. This govt have lost trust from the masses except the ignorant ones who still believe they have to kpai or be kidnapped first before they know that this govt have failed. Even this project we can still not trust their honesty in the cost of setting it up and its returns and how it will circulate and better the people. We need a fairer and transparent govt to take over and help rebuild that trust in govt. don’t be cheap to fall for this govt again
And you think your Obi and kwakwaso are the angels you're waiting for?

You've not seen their real character. What you're seeing is pretence and surreptitious living. The real character of any man will be seen when POWER is gotten.

It’s easy to tell when the paid APC apologists finishes their morning meetings and in a haste to meet to their anti- Obi post targets

This is about a lithium plant in Nasarawa, but the BOTs can’t wait for a relevant topic to resume the anti Obi posts.

Evil resides in the heart of APC

Iya alakara and her husband will be more sad because their Stockholm Syndrome master strategy to fight for power, grab and run with it is failing.

https://www.nairaland.com/post/125340351

Meanwhile, any idea why all these announcements have failed to help your master strategist get to N300/$1 in the short term after 38 months of being in the job of president huh

Why is a sensible person like you dogmatically supporting All Promises Cancelled, APC politicians who say things that they he don’t plan to do?

World Bank offers Nigeria forex rate advice, as Tinubu eyes N200/Dollar rate

April 23, 2023

The President-elect said he would work with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to bring down the exchange rate to N200 in his first term.

“My administration will collaborate with the Central Bank to harmonize the fiscal and monetary policy to achieve immediate stabilization of the value of the naira against the US dollars and other currencies and in the short term, strengthen the naira by boosting the supply of foreign currency and moderating demand.

“The short-term goal is to achieve a naira/dollar rate of 300 naira/US$ and gradually achieve a less than 200 naira rate over the next four years, Tinubu stated.

Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has promised to ensure that the naira would be equal to the dollar in value if voted into office.

NAN reports that Buhari said this on Monday during the south-east presidential rally of the party at Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

“It is sad that the value of the naira has dropped to more than N230 to one dollar. This does not speak well for the nation’s economy,” he said.

He urged the people to vote for APC, noting that he would ensure that corruption was tackled headlong if elected.

"Can people eat it?" is a strange standard. People can't eat roads, bridges, or hospitals either. The point is to build an economy where people can earn enough to buy food, not expect the government to feed them forever.
You spoke, just like i would love to. Keep being wise and sound.

Is this a lame excuse for balablu bulaba master strategist’s failure to deliver the jobs he promised huh

Why should government not employ teachers and other workers to make education free for all children and water available to all households, among other public services and utilities to be provided from our commonwealth?

Tinubu sets 3-year economic revival, 50million jobs target

August 29, 2023

President Bola Tinubu who reiterated his commitment to economic revatalisation said he will not permit indolence or any act capable of derailing his ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ by any of his ministers.

He gave a marching order to the 45-member of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to perform or be ready to be fired for incompetence.
@
@
Edun said the Tinubu administration inherited a bad economy with an unacceptable high rate of unemployment, and with inflation standing at 24%.

He said:“Per capital has fallen steadily, inflation is at 24 percent, unemployment is high, you know m are rebasing the way in which it’s calculated. Either way, it is high and youth unemployment is even unacceptably high, these are the key metrics that we have met.”
@
@
Edun said: “Clearly, *the Federal Government is not in a position to borrow at this time*. Rather, the emphasis has to be on creating a stable, macroeconomic environment. Stable inflation, stable exchange rate, an environment within which people can come and invest and thereby increase production and further grow the economy; Improve and create jobs and reduce poverty.
@
@
Anite said President Tinubu was planning to create 50 million jobs.

She stressed: “In Mr. President’s manifesto during his campaigns, he promised 50 million jobs and that’s our target. We will take it in phases; we are looking at different sectors of the economy that will contribute to this job creation chief among them is the creative industry and the digital economy, and then the agric sector, agro-processing zones, and mining, oil and gas. So we’re very confident that we will achieve this.”

6,000 MT per day? That's a huge amount of mining. I hope the environment where the mining is taking place is being protected, and that the local communities are getting their fair share of the revenue generated from these mining activities.

This particular mineral resource is one of the major factors fuelling insecurity in this country, and it is found more in Oyo and the North Central States.
In my mother's home town, every body don abandon their artisans jobs for this and it is controlled by the Fulanis and Chinese at the topmost level.
A responsible Government would be proactive in detailing potential issues that are arising so as to comprehensively tie all ends

Baxilexi:
I dislike commenting on local news but my people, learn to ask the right questions.

Is this a state owned company? If not, what’s the revenue ratio between the federal government and the owners?
How does the ministry of solid minerals keep track of every ounce of lithium mined?

Who are the owners?
What’s the economic impact?
What’s the environmental impact?

It’s a good initiative but like with every other sector (Gold, LNG, Oil) I fear it’s been monopolized.

You should be more worried whether te Proceeds from this Production Factory, like that of Gold in the North, goes to Private Pockets of Lithium and Gold Cabals or to the Coffers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Natural Resources from the North, like Gold, Lithium, belongs to the Northern Mafia and their little, useful Puns in the South.
Natural Resources from the South, belongs to ONE NIGERIA, like our Crude Oil

Your loss as a Nigerian from the South, is no less, than that of an Obidient.

Seems zone Bees have run out of lies to defend their god with
That's a private processing plant built by the a Chinese company to process lithium for export to China
We should even be more concerned about the environmental impact of their work and why they can't build a battery plant here instead of just a plant to process ore
Exploitation of Africa for raw materials by the Chinese is what we're celebrating here

what happens to the narratives of job creation, social development, industrialization and all that?
Look at this clown😂. Do you have issues with comprehension? Will the government come into your room to give you employment before you know they're creating jobs?

For your information, the economy is driven by the private sector and the primary duty of the government to create that enabling environment for industrialization to thrive. A 6000MT lithium processing plant has just be completed and you're here asking for industrialization and jobs creation!

Will the lithium plant be run or occupied by robots? What about the workers, are they animals, robots or trees that will be working there?

I tire for you o
