Why would anyone think this is a good idea? The Junta is trying everything possible to prevent his people from waking up. He'll keep them boxed in and continue feeding them propaganda. I won't be suprised if he restricts the internet in the future. David Hundeyin is clearly suffering from mental health issues. How does this translate to improvement in education? University of Ibadan is ranked #863 in the world while the best university in Burkina Faso is ranked #3506. |

Mattswaggz:Really, there are too many mad people on these country, and I’m sorry but you are one of them! A government takes choice of where you wish to school from you, yet you applaud it! What happens to making sure the schools are good enough that will make no sense to send your wards abroad! Let’s be honest, many people’s frontal lobe is ruptured! They can’t think clearly! |

Judolisco:They still have small sense. It is the followers and voters who do not have sense at all. A thief is a thief trying to help himself(bad though), but the one that keeps voting a thief is dumb |

Bosman17:Are you asking a question here or you're just here to insult me?.......if it's the former then you should know that life is all about perspective and sometimes leaders make tough decisions based on the mentality of their people, if restricting them to home is what would make them build the one at home then so be it because almost every country restricts citizens in one way or another so don't even bring any saner clime talk here.......and if you're here for the latter then don't even bother mentioning me again because I am only interested in entertainment constructive criticism/discussion/debate and not emotional or "Mr know it all" + insult debate. |

Education in Nigeria is wack, that's why jamb reduces the cutoff mark to 100, bastardizing the reading culture, seriousness, and academic commitment of student. |

After the student union spoke out against his poor security performance, Burkina Faso's military government under Captain Ibrahim Traoré has suspended the country's largest student union, deepening concerns over shrinking civic freedoms as authorities intensify efforts to silence dissent amid a worsening security crisis. This is to target the student leaders from not fleeing abroad and claim asylum. |

lightwind:Yes I know it included politician. Why should anybody care about politician when the most people that will be impacted by such nonsense rule will be regular citizens themselves? How many politician do we have in Nigeria with kids abroad compared to regular citizens schooling abroad? So because of less than 1%, you want to block the remaining 99%. Don’t worry, make Asiwaju sign such law tomorrow, na you go still come here dey kry about it |

Judolisco:The problem is that your reasoning is fundamentally flawed. As things stand, Nigeria simply does not have the financial resources to run an efficient, free, or low-cost healthcare system. It ultimately comes down to funding. |
| Re: Nigerians Will Start Going To University In Burkina Faso - David Hundeyin. by Judolisco(m): 6:01pm On Jul 04 |
lionshare:I am talking about common sense.. How can you have financial resources when the small resources you have... You've used your hands to take it abroad |

MrEar:Such decree is only possible in a military setting because it impedes on freedom of movement and association. No right thinking person can even applaud such a thing. The sensible thing is what BAT did which is remove FX subsidy. If Nigerians want improved educational standards then a fair price at university level then a fair price must be paid. At secondary level ALL schools MUST be handed to state and local governments to handle. Having FG schools is an aberration. More responsibility and revenue must be channeled to state and local governments to make this effective. |
