Hope you guys can sew the winning mentality most African teams have showcased in this tournament

When it mattered the most, they've shown courage and strength. This is lacking in the current Super Eagles. Sir mujtahida, has my point been made or not? Hope you can see it now?

Automatically, super eagles is a laughing stock. All of the African teams that made it through no have bragging right and rightfully so.

NFF, wrll done oo!!!

Yeye administration

Let someone hype nonsense for any of these players again. I guess we won't be seeing ludicrous comparisons to actual world class players again

The only way the African teams are making it past the R32 is on penalties. None have the quality to beat their respective opponents in 90 or 120 mins

Cabo verde. a wonderful tournament for a wonderful team. Didn't record a win but also didnt record a loss too (technically) despite playing against 3 world cup winning countries in their first attempt. The kind of record you would be proud of in your debut tournament

What's your take?

Would Cameron have performed better than its replacement, Cape Verde?

Would Nigeria have performed better than South Africa and Congo DR?

It's hard to tell, probably Cameron would have beaten Saudi Arabia but loose to Argentina, and Uruguay; Nigeria would have performed better than South Africa but not Congo DR. Just my thoughts.

Cameroon wouldn't have lost against Uruguay and Argentina.

Check the records, Cameroon has an excellent record against South American opposition.

My opinion, we would have performed better…
Though we wobbled from the start of the qualifiers, however The momentum we gain from the start of Eric chelle would made a huge statement at the world cup if we had qualified.
It would have been a case of bad qualifiers but excellent world cup campaign. we not qualifying doesn’t mean we are a bad team, it simply a testament of our unpreparedness and how we take open matches for granted.. We couldn’t beat Lesotho first game and could beat Zim home and away, but got to d Afcon and started dispatching teams of same grade(Mozambique,Uganda,Tanzania) even also beating hands down those once that qualified(Algeria and Tunisia)
Tunisians are good in qualifiers but a terrible tournaments team..same with SA…
Its so sad we started poorly…
Same chopping and changing of Coaches during the 2022 qualifiers(Rohr qualified the team to play off against Ghana, but Eguavoen executed the both games…You see as bad as Rohr was he would have qualified us for that edition with his haram football.

In conclusion, super eagles of Afcon 2025 would have made a statement in USCANMEX 2026

The way we all hype super eagles like brazil lol yes we started qualifiers badly we were given several lifeline yet we could not clinch it and again we could not even beat congo lol even during shootout players strolling like they dont care we cant win shoout still to save our life so how did you come to conclusion super eagles will do well? or is it because we beat jamaica? lol

Cameroon will have also ended at R32

There's no way we lose to Canada like SA did. DRC gave a good account of themselves and if we met the same teams they met we'd also have R32 exit realistically.

Meanwhile what happened to Amrabat and Ek Kabi, I haven't seen much of them in this tournament. Amrabat was imperial at the last world cup, I don't know if his Man U move finished him??

Yes am rooting for Canada just cuz of Tani Oluwaseyi who hm papa Debo na area big brother for Ilorin before he moved to Abuja then migrated to Canada.

Why I go join you in wishing defeat against My Maroc? Do you know Bounou is up against his nation of birth? Lol

Sofyan Amrabat is no longer a starter in the team naa. This was even so under Walid Regragui at Afcon 2025.
As for El Kaabi, Ouahbi's preference for Saibari up top explains why El Kaabi takes up his new bench role. And it is spot on. Saibari is much more technical, mobile and a far more intelligent forward than El Kaabi. Saibari suits multiple roles well and have led the lines too sometimes at club level so Ouahbi's switch is ingenious.

Even Rahimi is preferred off the bench to ElKaabi. So na tactical change of direction in the CF dept.
