The way we all hype super eagles like brazil lol yes we started qualifiers badly we were given several lifeline yet we could not clinch it and again we could not even beat congo lol even during shootout players strolling like they dont care we cant win shoout still to save our life so how did you come to conclusion super eagles will do well? or is it because we beat jamaica? lol
So when games get to PK shootout, there is one particular team that is so assured of winning it abi?
Which team PK sure for?...See as you dey talk like say PK is for a particular team to decide they will win it 100%
Like is said, this is not hype, with the energy and vibe we played with at the Afcon, baba all those mid European teams/South American teams or Asian team won't stroll on us like they did to Tunisia

Morocco changed something in their starting backline. Redouane Hahlal in for Chadi Riad.

Why I go join you in wishing defeat against My Maroc? Do you know Bounou is up against his nation of birth? Lol

Sofyan Amrabat is no longer a starter in the team naa. This was even so under Walid Regragui at Afcon 2025.
As for El Kaabi, Ouahbi's preference for Saibari up top explains why El Kaabi takes up his new bench role. And it is spot on. Saibari is much more technical, mobile and a far more intelligent forward than El Kaabi. Saibari suits multiple roles well and have led the lines too sometimes at club level so Ouahbi's switch is ingenious.

Even Rahimi is preferred off the bench to ElKaabi. So na tactical change of direction in the CF dept.
Remember the towels!!!!

Kaaaiii... Saibari OUT injured. And in comes Rahimi. That is a blow to Morocco's attacking bite uptop.

And I literally said this @emboldened below..
"Even Rahimi is preferred off the bench to ElKaabi. So na tactical change of direction in the CF dept."

Cc AndsunGorilla, see? Ouahbi proving me right again. El Kaabi has indeed fallen down the CF pecking order for My Maroc.

𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟: FC Basel have signed dual-national forward Kazeem Olaigbe from Trabzonspor on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

The 23-year-old recorded 1 goal and 7 assists in 37 appearances last season and will team up with Philip Otele at Basel.

Michael Oliver is so incompetent. He should have given a yellow to Hakimi only and not Laryea.

Saibari's injury has taken something off their rhythm. Also, Jesse Marsch did his homework studying how to repel my Maroc.

Hakimi, you escaped red vs Brazil for that Vini tackle. Behave yourself here ooo before you spoil things for My Maroc. The tussle with Laryea was not necessary but you get coconut head, na why. Lol

Morocco has been exposed. Press them relentlessly and don't give them space.

True, but Canada's attack is mostly toothless. I'm afraid that will be their undoing.

Hope CAF and Moroccan FA can see how free, smooth and fair a match against a host can go…instead of stupidly appointing a ref to come and officiate a crucial match where one team is his countries arch-rival in soccer…why FIFA no hire a senegalese ref or Algerian to come and officiate

Canada have been excellent with their pressing. They just need to find ways to create enough opportunities to score.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:57pm On Jul 04
Yes... more like Press and Counterpress because the Moroccans have still had more of the ball. Use the Moroccan possessive energy against them by also getting in their faces. Na part of why Hakimi and Laryea wan fight. Lol

But Canada's attacking bite needs to step up if they are going to be able to hurt My Maroc.

Shaa I know France will eat up whoever wins this tie.

Towards the end of the game sef, I had to check who was losing, cos the Colombians were the ones trying to score.
